The second bedroom on the main floor has a pull-out twin couch and can double as a TV room or office. The cozy kitchen is fully stocked, with an adjacent dining room that opens to a three-season sunroom. The basement laundry room includes a shower and bathroom.

We flew in for a quick weekend having never been to Iowa before. The house is close to the airport, but in a quiet neighborhood. Close to all of the downtown sights and an easy drive to Fort Dodge. It is a beautifully restored home with eclectic decor and amazing houseplants. We were actually able to relax with what little time we had here. 10/10, would recommend. I wish we would’ve had our golden doodle with us, because he would have loved it too!

Just what we needed

We were in town for a soccer tournament and the house was perfect for us to relax and unwind in between games. Lisa was very responsive and the house was clean and well stocked. Across the street from the house is a school that had basketball hoops and soccer fields which were great for passing time. We will definitely stay here again.

Easy communication with owner, very clean place and located nicely -- quiet neighborhood, but still close proximity to restaurant / downtown areas. Perfect for a weekend getaway. As noted in a previous review it probably should be revealed up front that the owner may be there in a downstairs living space. They werent when we were there, but it was noted in the welcome packet that it might be the case.

Beautiful

This was the perfect place to stay for my family close to town very quiet friendly neighborhood beautiful property! Lisa was very communicative and very helpful while we were there! The only thing I would add is that if you are allergic to dogs she does bring her dog to the property there is dog hair on the carpet luckily I had brought my allergy medicine so it wasn't too big of an issue!

Wonderful

The only reason it wasn't 5 out of 5 for everything is that I didn't realize the owner also had living quarters in the basement. They did not stay there during our stay, but I only found this out when I arrived and read through the Welcome packet. I prefer to stay at places without owner around. HOWEVER, I would stay their again and again, but only if checking with owner first.
