David makes a stay at Gar Brooks most enjoyable. He provides the "little" touches that are not advertised, but ones that enhances your experience there. The updates to the cottages are really nice and if ever an issue, or question, arises, David is quick to respond. Proximity to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping make Fish2Cay a perfect place for a vacation. This was our fifth time to stay here, and we will definitely return.

I chose off season and close to the beach on purpose and those details were absolutely perfect. The accomodations were exactly what we needed, and I can tell the owner puts effort into updates - the shower looked newly installed! Plan on bringing linens - I would have anyway so that was not an issue! Kitchen was well appointed with creature comforts, parking was very easy, and you could not beat the location!! Thank you for a wonderful stay, I appreciated it.

There was no beach view from the property, just sand dunes. The access to the beach was easy. The cottage was nice and warm when we arrived. However, the beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable. The pillows were very flat, glad I bought my own. The original pine paneling made the place feel very dark. We noticed the area rug in the living room had a doggy odor (urine). The kitchen was well appointed with utensils, dishes and all the necessities. Over all cute cottage, just needs some updating. We didn’t see a washer and dryer. We enjoyed the little gift bag waiting for us. Madde our dog, loved the doggy treats!

The cottage has been improved since our last stay there. The large tiled shower has replaced the bathtub. New doorknobs replaced the old, barely working ones. The cottage is very comfortable and cozy.

Pictures online did not do this house justice. House decorated nicely and the rooms were a good size. We didn’t feel cramped at all. Check in and out was smooth. Kitchen was well stocked. Access to the beach was great. We would definitely stay here again. Loved the welcome package for us and the dog.

Great little place right on the beach

We have been staying here off and on for the past 15 years (since before Vrbo was a thing.) Absolutely love the location you are in walking distance to several restaurants/bars. The house is great and being 50 yards from the front porch to the beach is really awesome.

Perfect location

Dog-friendly two bedroom bungalow is perfectly situated to the beach, attractions, restaurants and such. Five small units are tucked between a large three-story house and a public access to the beach. My unit could’ve used updating and a really thorough cleaning before occupancy.
