This is a great setup for anyone visiting the area. Very neat, clean, space, and everything is well-maintained. Great bed/linens, and everything is well-explained. MInutes from town and in a very quiet area. We definitely hope to come back.

Perfect spot in Hamilton

Astrid and Ian are lovely hosts with beautiful property. The apartment is perfect for a few nights stay that's close to my family. I've stayed twice now and its been a pleasure. I hope to be back over the summer!

My husband and I have made this house our home since 2001 and raised our twin sons here. I grew up in the Netherlands and teach science at our local public school. My husband teaches at Colgate University and enjoys managing the grounds around the property, including 40 acres of land across the street.

Why they chose this property

Our property contains views of the woods in the summer and the distant hills in the winter. It has a large front and back yard with beautiful trees. Our home is close to downtown Hamilton and the Colgate Campus. The area provides excellent walking and biking opportunities in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter.

What makes this property unique

Our property offers a unique blend of convenience and privacy—located just minutes from downtown and the Colgate campus, yet set in completely secluded surroundings. It’s the ideal setting for families or groups looking to gather and celebrate in an intimate, private retreat.
