It was close to the airport and host through Nicholas was wonderful. It was also a close Uber ride to the beach area. It would have been an easy downhill 30 minute walk, but I didn't know how to get passed the freeway and my Internet wasn't working. The way home after a long day would have been tough.

The apartment was clean though a bit smaller than it looks in photos. I would have given a much higher rating but there was a sewer issue which the owner said was a city issue they couldn’t do anything about. The smell was so horrendous I couldn’t go into the bathroom without feeling nauseous. We tried keeping the bathroom door closed and stuffing towels under the door but the smell was still noxious. It was cold, but we kept the windows and front door open and huddled on the couch under blankets. The city near the palace smelled bad too, though not as strong. Overall a miserable last 2 days of our vacation. Do yourself and your nostrils a favor and avoid Split all together. Dubrovnik was beautiful and dud not smell at all.

Unfortunately, the issue was related to the city sewer system and was beyond our control, but we completely understand how unpleasant and frustrating this must have been.
