My family of 4 (2x15 year old girls) came into town for a campus tour and game day experience! We searched and searched for a home to rent for our stay and so many were price outside of our budget. This home was very well priced and located for campus activities. It was perfectly accommodating for our family. The little touches like plugs in the cute little lamps, the antique furniture, comfortable living room furniture and strong wifi made our stay very easy and enjoyable. It’s a small, cute, older traditional home you find in west Texas and the host has made every effort to decorate and accommodate their guests. They had 4 waters in the refrigerator when we arrived at midnight which was exactly what we needed! Coffee maker was perfect and the kitchen was full of everything one needs plus the refrigerator had condiments! The master bath was snug but for only two nights it was just fine. Shampoo and conditioner was provided which was great!Hall bath was perfect for two teens coupled with the mirrors in the bedrooms. Overall it was a great stay and I recommend this host and home to anyone!
This was the most accommodating house we have ever used through VRBO. The hosts special touches were all around the property. They had everything you needed in the kitchen, games to entertain everyone, a beautiful backyard with blackberries, and even toiletries already stocked in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the living space was welcoming. I cannot say enough about this rental. Thank you for making our visit memorable.
House is just like it is described. Great for visiting children attending Tech. Love the cooling options provided as we were able to grill a meal for college student and some friends.
What a great find in Lubbock! Such a nice, comfortable and well-stocked home for our family for the weekend. Comfy beds, nice backyard, clean throughout, excellent location, and many thoughtful touches offered. We will definitely be back!
This rental was charming and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. It was the perfect spot for grilling and ping pong with our kids and their roommates after the game. Plenty of space with comfortable beds. Will stay there again.
Excellent house with plenty of room and amenities. Location is close to just about everything. My wife enjoyed having hooks in the bathroom to hang things on. Easy communication with the owner. Will return!
This beautifully decorated and super clean 3-bedroom, 2-bath home was the perfect spot for a family gathering to celebrate our TTU grad. It was fully stocked, with a well-equipped kitchen, a second fridge in the garage, and very comfortable beds. The home offered plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, games, a ping pong table, and cornhole boards. A large shade tree in the backyard provided the ideal place for lots of outdoor games and family conversations. Just 5 minutes from TTU, the location was perfect. The host communicated well. I highly recommend this property.
This place is the best VRBO I have stayed in since we began our Texas Tech journey 7 years ago! It is so spacious and comfortable. I don’t think I found a smudge or speck of dirt anywhere! It is fully stocked. I did not come up with anything that I wished for . Beds are so comfortable and the kitchen is perfect! The owner answered me immediately with any questions. Stay here 100%!!!!
Five star accommodation. The owners/managers were very welcoming with the family get together of 8 of us. Only 4 of us stayed overnight in the house. Our youngest daughter graduated from Eastern. Our kids had a blast playing the games and corn hole for entertainment. While the whole family had a great time playing cards during our last night. It was such a quick weekend. We did plan to have a bbq there but changed to going out for the lack of time everyone had. All in all highly recommend place and reasonable prices.
I'm not one to leave reviews, but after having listened to my wife rave about how awesome this place was during our 3 night stay over Thanksgiving, I was impelled to leave a review. During my search for places to stay in Lubbock, there were many choices and I just randomly chose this place. We got very lucky. Most other home rentals we stayed in are not well equipped with kitchen ware, coffee, blankets, etc. Other rental places often times doesn't feel like a home because the beds/blankets/furniture are run down.
As soon as we stepped into this rental it was clear that the owner really takes pride in ownership and may have possibly lived in it too because it FELT LIKE HOME! Attention to details is the key thing. All the little things added up to a very comfortable family gathering: kleenex boxes in every room, quality kleenex, quality toilet paper, great tasting coffee, a high tech coffee maker, new TV, beds and pillows must have been brand new because even my teenage daughter commented on how comfortable her bed was (either that or its time for me to buy new beds at my home, lol). We were surprised to find high end dishes for Thanksgiving dinner, the silverware was brand new without any scratches or blemishes. My family frequently voiced how it felt like we were the first ones using the dishes/silverware/bed, etc.
The neighborhood is extremely peaceful and quiet, adjacent to a school with a big football field. Easy parking, easy check in (the owner communicates very well)
They are the best people to work with. We needed a little extra and they got it for us!! No questions they just took good care of us. Great place to stay!!!!

About the host
Hosted by Jana & Vance
We met at Lubbock Christian University and spent our first years of marriage in Lubbock. We love the people, the climate, and that Lubbock still has that small town feel but with so much to offer as it continues to grow
Why they chose this property
It’s an amazingly convenient location. A short 5 minute walk to Cactus Alley with its a Latin American restaurant, local brewery, coffee shop and a number of other eclectic shops is like an oasis. And with a Middle School nearby it provides opportunity to use the walking track, tennis courts and wide open spaces. Marsha Sharp Freeway is just a couple of blocks away, so you can quickly be on your way to all that Lubbock has to offer.
What makes this property unique
Even though the house is convenient to so much Lubbock has to offer, this is a quiet neighborhood that allows for peaceful rest.
