Perched above the Pigeon River to show off the view this 10x34 Tiny Home with additional loft space has all the conveniences of a conventional home. The real attraction though is the outdoor wilderness location because you will be surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest and just a stone's throw away from Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This location is just 55 minutes from both Asheville and Knoxville. Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are all about 40 minutes away. We're outside the urban hustle and bustle and are situated in the Pigeon River Gorge area. This area is famous for whitewater rafting. You can hike 2 trails without leaving the property. One of the trails is "Buzzards Roost" listed on the all trails app. Please note we have river access so that you can fish, watch rafters, or relax by the water and enjoy the sounds. To access our river area, there is a separate parking area by the trailhead, with a walk way to the river. We are situated between 2 interstate exits making the trip to your cabin easy in night or day and summer or winter. We supply all you will need including free firewood. The only thing you need to bring is your sense of adventure. If this is unavailable please see our other listing, The Leconte. WiFi is not available, however, excellent cell service is available. When a 2nd pet is joining you, please note we have a $50 fee for the amount of time and detail it takes for our cleaning team to maintain our standards. That will be requested closer to your reservation or during your stay.

Very clean, cute & cozy cabin! Private area and peaceful! Our dog loved staying here as well, he was extremely happy and relaxed just as much as we were!!!
We loved our stay in this house! The views from the window were incredible, and it felt very cozy. It was also fun to be in such an out of the way little town as Cosby, there’s a lot of cool things to discover out there.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. It makes everything we have done worth it. We appreciated all your kind words and we hope you'll return. Thanks again.
Great place to stay. Close enough to the attractions but far away enough to relax. I was even able to get in some quality fishing time at the river while the family slept in.
The tiny house is in a perfect location for a quiet get away and river view! We will stay longer next time and spend some time sitting outside watching the rafters go by. It’s also a great location to get to Knoxville, Asheville, and Pigeon Forge.
Loved this tiny home! It was close to hiking, whitewater rafting, and shopping. It was so nice sitting outside in the morning and at night. Everything we needed was available there: cooking, cleaning, showering, and even extra blankets. Definitely bring bug spray. ;)

Thanks for all your kind words. We're glad you enjoyed being here.
Super cute tiny home with plenty of parking, a fire pit, grill and everything you need for a short or long stay. We enjoyed how close the trails and river are and visited a nearby book store, distillery and cafe on the river.
Perfect place to wind down during our road trip, I locked myself out and Leslie was very prompt with assisting us and resolving my mistake. We hiked a local trail and the view did not disappoint, neither did any view around the entire area (only 10-15 min drive to the overlooks on foothill pkwy) Not to mention a bald eagle sighting while we enjoy breakfast over looking to river. I can’t say enough positive aspects about our 2 night stay here. It was wonderful for my son and I.

Thank you so much for all your kind words. The Bald Eagle sighting was really cool. Please come back !
Great location and amenities. Just wish we were staying longer to offset the cleaning fee. Better suited for a long weekend stay. But still better than staying at a hotel.

We hope you'll come back to stay with us again. We pay our cleaner what we charge as a cleaning fee. Our cleaner is the best ever.
Beautiful cabin for a weekend getaway! Easy drive to the major cities & national park. The cabin had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the well maintained hiking trails on the property!
Rest assured, the home was wonderful, comfortable and easy for a nice stay in Tenn. 40 minutes from Gatlinburg was a perfect distance to visit the hot spots during the day and escape to a nice quiet evening listening to the river and enjoying the beautiful scenic sky.

Thank you for such a nice review. We really appreciate it and hope you'll return again some day.
Perfect place to stay when wanting to raft, hike, and enjoy the outdoors. The tiny house was cute, clean and comfortable and we could watch the raft trips float by from our front patio. We would definitely stay there again if back in the area!
We loved it and hope to come back someday. The house is exactly like the pictures and it was lovely and cozy! We had a wonderful time by the fireplace and that was our favorite part.

About the host
Hosted by Leslie Graves Karl Graves
We live in Jacksonville FL. We are members of the Smoky Mountains Hiking Club. We enjoy hosting so that others can enjoy the natural beauty of this area.
Why they chose this property
We choose this area because of the rugged beauty and proximity to the Smoky Mountains, loads of nature, not too far from the big sites and enjoy the quietness of the area.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique because it backs up to the Cherokee National Forest with endless hiking trails from our property. Our River Access has a parking area with a walkway directly to the water and small beach area. There are large rocks you can sit on or relax on the beach area to watch nature, rafters, or simply enjoy the water sounds.
