Thank you for the kind words!
We're so glad to hear that our place was a great fit for your golf trip. It was a pleasure hosting you and your group, and we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime.
Juniper Ridge Cabin was all that we expected and more! It was our home base for an ATV trip and was so nice to come "home" to every day. The owner was the sweetest woman and we really enjoyed getting to know her. Although we didn't encounter any problems with the cabin during our stay we are sure that they would have been handled quickly and satisfactorily. We had a wonderful trip thanks, in a large part to the incredible accommodations we found at Juniper Ridge.
Cozy, spacious home. Each of our children had their own space. Close enough to town for easy access, but far enough away for peace and quiet.
Felt like home.
This was a great location for four corners and bears ears and all the parks around the area. We in joyed the home clean fun to be in and well stocked with utensils. We could have just stayed in the home and would have had a good time. looking forward to staying there again.
Property owner was really great to talk with and gave us some great information about the area. We loved the house, only drawback was the somewhat difficult, narrow spiral staircase leading to the three bedrooms downstairs. But overall, we were very pleased with the house and the solitude it offered and the very convenient location.
This property was perfect for us. We were a party of 4 Utahns with 3 of our British cousins. We wanted to have an intimate gathering and show our Brits the beauties of Utah. This property was just what we needed. We could all stay together, eat around one big table, cook our meals in the large kitchen, do our laundry and travel to the beauties of Moab, Blanding, Bluff and so forth!!

10 day stay
Beautiful log home with lovely decks and views. Definitely a lot of space, nice thick towels, comfortable beds, cozy decor. Kitchen had 2 cooking pots and one usable frying pan---a bit skimpy. That being said, there were amaple glasses and dishes, but no serving bowls. The plumbing is quirky and internet connection is sketchy. Would have given a 5 star rating if not for tge aforementiined.

Great to hear you enjoyed the home! Thank you for your comments regarding the lack of kitchen essentials and issue with internet. We'll get it worked out. Hope to have you back again soon!
We enjoyed our stay at Juniper Ridge. The cabin was quaint and unassuming...a little quirky but that added to the charm. One thing I might adjust is adding some shades to the south/east SUN facing windows. The solar gain was incredible at heating the house and was a little problematic when cooking breakfast in the kitchen. So bright. the hosts were great at communicating and we enjoyed our visit. Especially the sweet stray cat that wanted loves whenever you went outside. We named it JuniPURR. We almost took it home but then I came to my senses.

Fabulous place for a group vacation
My husband and I and 7 of our friends were in the Blanding area for a multi-day ATV trip with our club. We much prefer staying at B&B's or VRBO's to being isolated in a hotel room, and since you can do most of the cooking yourself, you save money and eat just what you like! We found the Juniper Ridge Family Cabin on VRBO and stayed for several nights. It was a gorgeous house, 3 levels, with a wraparound deck and a panoramic view of the nearby Abajo Mountains to the north and all the way to Shiprock, NM to the south. Hosts Allen and Leonie Hunt are the most charming and friendly couple, and their home reflects their wide interests and gracious style. When a rock fall on the trail caused a last minute ride cancellation, Allen came to the rescue by showing us some alternate routes we could follow. The resulting next day's ride was memorable for all. The home itself is warm and inviting, decorated in southwest motif with musical accents (the owners are accomplished musicians) and nods to Leonie's Australian roots. You can even play the marimba upstairs!
There are five bedrooms (4 queens and a bunk room), and the house has everything guests could want, right down to the ready-made pancake mix in the fridge. The large kitchen is a breeze to work in, even with lots of "helpers", and the big dining table with built-in lazy Susan avoids those awkward reaches across your neighbor's plate. Access is good, with a number of outside doors on each floor, but the spiral stairway between levels is VERY narrow, and handicapped or large guests will have to walk around the outside of the house to one of the other stairways. However, that just gives you more opportunity to cross paths with the many little cottontail rabbits that form the welcoming committee, and scamper about in the driveway morning and evening!
There is a full bathroom on each of the main floors. Supplies are well stocked and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. A word of caution - the hot water system won't accommodate more than one person showering at a time, or you'll alternately freeze and boil! But it's a small drawback for such a lovely home. There is plenty of parking - our group easily found room to park FIVE truck-trailer combinations. The owners have even compiled a notebook with extensive ideas for nearby day trips.
Our little bunch of friends had a delightful time at the Juniper Ridge Family Cabin, and highly recommend it for large families or groups, or even a romantic getaway.

Muchos mosquitos adentro de la casa y unos de los cuartos de niños la puesta no serraba nesecitan más camas para niños y tenía mucha telarañas la estufa no estaba limpia
This was our second time staying at this home. As with our previously stay, the cabin was delightful and everyone loved it. It's spacious, furnished well and the owners' eclectic interests are evident in every room. The kitchen and dining rooms are designed for groups and the many doors (5 on the main level) make it accessible. Located in a quiet, rural neighborhood, there's plenty of privacy, and stunning views spanning from Blue Mountain to Shiprock. At night the skies are crystal clear for star viewing. There's plenty of parking, even for several truck/trailer combos, and the owners are very responsive even when out of town. If there are any cons, they are minor: The driveway is home to numerous red ants, and I was badly stung by one that crawled up inside my pant leg. The many large windows mean the house heats up in the daytime, but it cools down nicely from the evening breezes. Since we were gone during the day, this wasn't a big deal. There is a small air conditioner but it's inadequate for such a large house. And the kitchen could use some seasonings besides salt and pepper, some cooking oil, and some large drinking glasses. Finally, be aware that the spiral staircase between upper and lower levels is VERY TIGHT, and a quite large person may not fit through it. But these are minor issues. All in all, we highly recommend this property!
We enjoyed gathering back to the old homestead. The lazy Susan was great for meals, but not the best for playing games.
Other than the spiral staircase everything was wonderful.
We had a great time here. It was the perfect spot to do a day trip to Monument Valley and see the museums in Blanding. The home is beautiful and there was plenty of space. The kids loved the new treehouse. The wildlife out here was quite surprising. We enjoyed our stay.
We had 4 couples and enjoyed our stay. We all slept well and comfortably. We had a great breakfast including homemade buttermilk pancakes. Fun stay and would come back
Central location for all the national parks nearby
We enjoyed our stay at the Juniper Ridge Cabin. It was central to all of the national parks we wanted to visit while on our trip. It was also close to the local grocery store. The house is plenty big enough for everyone to spread out. A few things to keep in mind - to get to the lower level, where nearly all the bedrooms are, you need to go down an extremely narrow spiral staircase (or go outside and around). This made it difficult to carry our belongings up and and down the stairs and for our 70-something parents to use the lower level. This lower level is also where the only television is. The kitchen needs some updates in terms of pots, pans, baking pans, cutting boards and bowls. Most everything is well past its useful life. The dining room table was great - it seats a large family and was perfect for card games. The on-site laundry was a must for us. With a few improvements this could be perfect, but for people that don't need to cook and don't have any issues with the spiral staircase, this is a great vacation spot.
A little on the rustic side, but we sure enjoyed checking out all the beautiful woodwork, and the views were incredible. Be aware that most of the bedrooms r in the basement and there is a rather tight spiral staircase to get down there. Great area. Thanks!
We enjoyed seeing Monument Valley and Arches. Your home is in a great location for visiting the parks.
