We stayed in this perfectly situated historic home and couldn't have been more pleased. It was very clean and well stocked for our needs. Additionally, it was convenient to all we wanted to see in Port Huron.
The unit is clean, comfortable and just what we needed for a visit home for the holidays. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. Although it was winter, there is a great outdoor space we will use on a return trip in the warmer months.
Great place to stay. Well kept and had everything we needed. Excellent location and smooth check-in process. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area.
Cozy, beautiful, well lit, VERY clean. we did some sight seeing but stayed pretty close, not hard to do with this house being in such a great location for easy access to everything we wanted to see. This was our second time staying at Jen and Robert’s and we loved it just as much as the first!! Thanks for another great stay and we’d love to stay again!
The house was beautiful, historic, and in a quiet area. We didn't have to use much temperature control, so that was a non-issue. Host was communicative and reachable, and the space was clean. It is a historic home, so very creaky floors and a clawfoot tub can be expected. I appreciated that the kitchen was left stocked with basic supplies (cleaners, pots, pans, spices, coffee, tea, some condiments) possibly from other guests. House felt easy to secure with lots of locks for safety. Close to everything downtown, and just made for a perfect birthday weekend getaway for us. Checkout was easy and all we had to do was take the sheets off, take the trash out, put towels in the tub, and leave the dishes clean. Would stay here again!
We have stayed in this house every summer for a week & always have a wonderful time. The house Close to city marina where we keep the boat & downtown. We plan to stay again next summer hopefully.
We drove up from Indiana to see family and when we walked in the doors we were in awe of how beautiful the place was! Everything was so clean and inviting and felt like a cozy home away from home!
Great rental for three of us looking to have some space during a family visit. 10 minute walk to downtown bars and restaurants, cozy beds, and nice amenities.
We really enjoyed this location. Cool old house, nicely renovated, very clean, and very comfortable. The hosts did a great job of giving us all the information we needed before check-in, and was responsive to messages. Everything was great, and we would definitely stay here again.
This beautiful old house is restored to its previous glory. Very comfortable with a beautiful dining room, comfortable mattresses. Close to public boat launch & public docks for the boaters out there. I’m definitely staying here again.
Comfortable space within easy walking distance of downtown. Window a/c units kept the place nice & cool in 90 degree weather. Bedrooms are on opposite ends of the house -- perfect for our 8-year-old (bring your monitor if you have littles).Bathroom is little and beautiful clawfoot tub is tall, so reminder to help little kids or those with mobility challenges in and out of the tub.We would definitely stay here again.
This place is amazing. Tasteful decorations, everything works, comfy bed. Bathroom is a bit small and awkward, but this is legitimately the only thing here that isn’t perfect. Very close to downtown and the water. Great place overall.
