A wonderful family gathering spot!

We are local and rented for our family to stay for my son’s graduation. We had a small gathering afterwards. It was a great spot with lots of space - a cool hang out area in the basement for the kids. The view was beautiful. Comfortable beds and all the extra "stuff" you need to entertain!

Spacious and well-appointed rental

This house was a great place to stay for me, my husband, my brother and his fiancée, and my mom. We came up to visit extended family nearby and to ski Stratton. The rooms are very spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook family dinners. We didn’t use the sauna,but we really liked the pool table and hot tub. Communication with the host was also excellent! Looking forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you!

Unique and very large house

We had a great stay. The house was very large and not cookie cutter to say the least. It took us a few days to start to remember the layout. It made it fun. But there was a lot of times where I had to search for the billiards room etc. We didn't use the sauna or hot tub but I imagine they would be great after a day of skiing. The view is just flat out spectacular from the great room. This is an older house. Maybe 1960. Most of the VRBOs we have stayed at in this area of VT and NH are similar. It hasn't been completely remodeled to where you can't feel the character of the original build. The host was quick to respond to our questions and she left us a nice bottle of wine and some cheese. Make sure you visit the Vermont Country Store 15 minutes north of town. They have an amazing array on food and gifts for sale.
