Super cute little bungalow, Great location to everything, two blocks to Main Street, 7 min walk to hot springs, close to restaurants. Clean and quiet. Would absolutely stay here again.
Cute little house located just two blocks from downtown Glenwood Springs. Excellent access to all that GS has to offer. Bring a bike, park your car, and ride everywhere! Great for three humans and a dog, but could get cramped with more. Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and two dinners, including a very nice grill.
The cottage is absolutely adorable and charming! It's well situated for walking, and has a great little outdoor space. Parking was the only challenge, but we managed.
Great stay at the Miners Cabin. Super clean and comfortable for just my husband and I. Had two amazing powder days at Sunlight Mountain followed with some incredible soaks! Delicious food and cocktails close by. Will rent this property again!

Hi Caroline, Thank you for your five star review of Miner's Cottage! We are so happy to hear that you and your husband had a great stay at this property!
Pet friendly inside yes, however there is no grassy area on the property. You kind of have to walk your dog over across the street or at the neighbors property a couple houses down. My dog goes with me everywhere so it was nice to lease her up and take her down “under the bridge” for the free music and outdoor eateries that had porch space for her to sit with us. We did crate her in the house while at the hot springs and a 2nd day while we hiked the hanging lakes trail. (Too strenuous for my 11yr old little dog). It would have been nice to have a king bed but we made do. :-)
We loved our stay at the Miner’s Cottage! The location cannot be beat- we walked downtown, to multiple restaurants, Doc Holliday’s grave, and the hot springs. It was really nice to not have to drive. The cottage is comfortable and stocked with everything you might need (dishwasher and washer pods, dish soap, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, robes,, board games, etc…). The AC worked wonderfully which helped in heat with a 108* real feel! The check in and check out processes were easy and Kim was extremely responsive. She made herself available to us if we needed her.Note that you will have to do small laundry loads since it’s an old home and that the back yard is not accessible from inside the house. We didn’t actually use the back yard for the dog- it’s more of a walkway for the home behind it (the way the homes are arranged in Glenwood Springs is that 2 are on 1 lot, I assume because of limited space in this beautiful mountainous town). Enjoy sitting on the front porch. Everyone in this town is so friendly!
We had a great time in Glenwood Springs! The house and porch were perfect for travelers, one of whom was on crutches and needed a sweet place to sit with dogs and watch the world go by. The only surprise was the dinge of the outdoor areas. Maybe no one had cleaned up after winter yet? We really didn’t mind too much as we were half humans half dogs. We still recommend the property and a stay in GWS.
