Dream Home for Getaway

This property blew us away. The pictures online are fantastic but seeing this home in real life was just incredible. A lot of times, pics online don’t match reality. This place has it all and everything worked which is expected but sometimes that’s not always the case. From the grand entrance that opens to the most spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean to the massive entertainment area and infinity pool. The Sonos system was fantastic and the sound quality was crisp. Huge bedrooms and all were clean and well thought out. We didn’t spend any time in the movie room or the game room because we were in the pool most of the days and all nights on the patio and living area partying with our friends. The house attendant cleaned the home each morning which was a huge help. Oh and the gym was a huge bonus. They have a smith machine as well as all sizes of dumbbells and a treadmill. We were all very pleased with just about everything. The only thing we would suggest is a new coffee maker. The one there takes like 30 minutes to make a full pot of coffee.

Our family of nine — 7 adults and 2 children — stayed at Casa Symbiotica (CS) in November 2025, and it was truly the most unforgettable vacation we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and comfort of this luxury villa. Every adult bedroom had its own incredible view, and waking up each morning felt like stepping into a postcard. The kids practically lived in the pool — they used it every single day and never wanted to get out! The stunning infinity pool overlooking the ocean became our favorite gathering spot from sunrise to sunset. The location is perfect — close to amazing restaurants, beautiful beaches, and everything we needed. Despite being so close to everything, the property felt extremely secure, and the gated community added an extra layer of comfort. Maintenance requests were handled quickly and professionally, and housekeeping was wonderful — even helping with small laundry items, which made our stay feel extra relaxing and cared for. CS itself is on another level. The property is huge and thoughtfully designed, with so many spaces to enjoy as a group or retreat for quiet time. We loved the game room, the media room, and the breathtaking outdoor areas. Our stay here exceeded every expectation. If you're considering booking CS, don’t hesitate — it’s even more beautiful than the photos and absolutely perfect for families or groups looking for luxury, comfort, and unforgettable views. We can’t wait to come back! ️ It's a little hard to figure out how to use everything. I wish there were a book at the house with the information, as well as the QR code, but we are nitpicking!

Absolutely Amazing

The place was incredible! Mitch and his team were spectacular! We had a small scheduling conflict and they were so attentive and helpful it blew us away. They helped with excursions, personal chef and more. The views and cleanliness of the property was awesome as well. Thanks Mitch and crew!

Incredible views!!!

We absolutely fell in love with this area of Costa Rica. Mar Vista is a little sanctuary in the hills. The house was absolutely magical. Plenty of space, views from everywhere, perfect layout for our group. We have never been back to the same place but we couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else when we return! Exceptional.

Beautiful villa with lots to do with friends

We stayed as a group of 4 families with kids of ages 3-11. The pool, the media room, the play room, the basketball and tennis... All were a huge hit with the kids. That left the adults free to enjoy the gorgeous view and sunsets and cook amazing dinners in the open footprint kitchen and outdoor area. I highly recommend the place!

Spacious Home

Our stay here was great. There were 11 of us (adults and kids) and there was plenty of room for all to sleep, and several common areas to relax, play cards, or watch television. 2 laundry rooms were very helpful. The pool and hot tub area had plenty of shade. The concierge, property manager, and housekeeper all helped make the experience worry-free. It was a short drive to shopping and beaches, and the nearby Mar Vista restaurant was very good. We had a few small hitches, but all were quickly addressed and remedied. Highly recommend this home!

Heaven on Earth

We have stayed in many high end homes ranging from 6500 sq.ft. to 15,000 sq.ft all over the world and Casa Symbiotica is at the top of our list of places to stay. Walking in the front door is as exhilarating as the last with the spectacular view over the infinity edge pool to the Pacific. The living space and bedroom areas are very well thought out and perfect for large to multiple families. The quaint towns within easy driving distance have fantastic restaurants and night life for all ages. If you are a surfer or aspiring surfer, you must stay here!

Paradise in Costa Rica

Casa Symbiotica was the nicest house we’ve ever stayed in. The view was magnificent. The house is essentially separated into two areas: the bedrooms on one side and the entertainment area on the other (kitchen, living room, outside bar and grill, weight room). The house was perfect for a large family get together. It also has a movie theater room and game room with darts, ping pong table, and pinball machine. Needless to say it was hard to leave this place!

BEST VACATION EVER

This vacation home was everything our group could imagine. The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. The view from the home is AMAZING. The house was very comfortable and there was 12 of us. The kitchen and dining area was large, which was a plus for us. Although the house was great, the hospitality was the best. The housekeepers, and concierge made sure we had everything that we needed and made whatever we wanted to do happen. They planned all of our transportation and excursions. We have not one complaint about the home, everything was beautiful!

Great Friend Trip!

We had a great stay in an absolutely beautiful home! It’s breathtaking to walk in the front door for the first time. We thought it was a great floor plan to have one side of the house as the common living areas and the other side with the bedrooms. We had 17 ppl in our group with a broad range of kids, and every age group had a blast. This house is very kid friendly. The concierge service was very easy to communicate with and really did all the hard work for me. Lastly, the maid for the house was so sweet and always had a smile. She was truly a blessing to have around.

Magnificent Views

This house offers spectacular views and a very convenient location, close to great beaches, shopping and many excellent restaurants. Home has everything you would need for a great vacation! Perfect for our family get together (12 adults/teens). Property Owner, Mitch, was easy to communicate with and very accommodating to any needs we had. Ariana, who kept the house clean was fantastic and offered us some great ideas for daily excursions. 4 star rating instead of 5 star was due to a few relatively minor maintenance issues that were not addressed until after our stay was over, but this didn't stop us from really enjoying the house and having an excellent time!

Fabulous experience

Our family of six had a wonderful experience at Casa Symbiotica. The home was immaculate and the amenities surpassed any five-star hotel. The service that was provided through Tropical Homes was also excellent. It felt like having your own personal concierge. The views from the home were spectacular as we enjoyed a perfect sunset every evening. We loved the layout of the home, particularly the large kitchen, swimming pool, and the separation of the sleeping quarters from the living quarters. We highly and strongly recommend staying at this home when you come to visit Costa Rica.

Paradise Found

This home was more beautiful than I could have imagined! When I walked into the front door, the view was breathtaking. I was welcomed by the ocean and a beautiful infinity pool. The house was beautifully appointed with a gourmet kitchen perfect for our private Chef to prepare meals which was organized for us. We started our morning with a workout in their fully equipped gym with beautiful views. After lounging at the pool all day we went for a walk over to the tennis courts where we saw monkeys in the trees! It was an amazing experience. We can't wait to go back!
