Gorgeous Private Pool And Ocean Views Await!

This relaxing and peaceful villa, with a lovely pool and gallery for enjoying the ocean view and the sound of the waves from the sea below, is the perfect island get-away! This beautiful property is on the east end of St. Croix, and a short walking distance to the sandy beach at Smugglers' Cove. Venture a bit further to the amazing beaches around Point Udall, Cramer Park, Teague Bay, Jack and Isaac’s Bay. Or, if you prefer, the island's only casino is less than a 10 minute drive away.

Some of the best restaurants on St. Croix are nearby, such as Grapetree Bay Hotel terrace for Sunday brunch, or inside for Asian inspired steak and seafood, Duggan's Reef for your lobster, and casual pubs: Castaways, The Deep End Bar and Grill, and Ziggy's (a favorite local restaurant, gas station, and convenience store). New places open up frequently on the island, so check out the latest guides for more in Christiansted and Fredericksted.

The property is only 15 minutes' drive from Downtown Christiansted historic district, the fort, and boat excursions. The airport is 25 minutes away.

A car is recommended for eating out, site-seeing, and exploring all that St. Croix has to offer! You may just want to relax at home by your beautiful private pool during the day, or under the bright stars at night.

From the pool there is a discreet outdoor shower and entrance to the Master suite. The private Master suite has a King-sized bed, and connects directly with the sitting room, which overlooks the sea. The Master bathroom, adjacent to the sitting room, has a walk in closet and an open shower with a one-way glass for an ocean view. The sitting room has a comfortable day-bed for an extra guest if needed, a TV, and a PS game system.

The other two bedrooms are on the other end of the house - each with a comfortable Queen-sized bed. The larger of these bedrooms has an incredible sea view and a sliding glass door leading out to the patio and hammock.

The living room has a TV you can use for streaming, or DVD/Blu-ray player with a large DVD collection for nightly movies and a sound system for your use during your stay. Open all of the sliding glass doors during the day to let in the cool Caribbean breeze!

The kitchen has everything you need from dishwater, appliances, cookware, and bakeware. Spices and condiments are plentiful, but do vary with guests. There is a coffee pot with filters, or a Keurig if you prefer.

The outside patio with dining area is where you will probably spend much of your time relaxing. The view and the gentle sound of the waves draw you in. There is formal seating for six. There is also a poolside bar table and chairs for snacks by the pool.

All of the rooms have AC if you need it on those hot humid days, and the whole house is powered by solar panels making it Eco-friendly. There is a generator to use for those infrequent power outages.

The house was exactly as advertised. We so enjoyed having morning coffee and evening drinks on the "verandah" with the beautiful views of the ocean. There was plenty of cooking equipment although we ate out most of the time. We did have an issue finding the house the first night!

The view is spectacular. The house is on the east side of the island, very quiet and rural, lush area. The house is on a hilll so be prepared to navigate steep hills and curvey roads to access ( but so worth it)The house has 3 good size bedrooms and an additional room with a day bed. The house has 2 bathrooms and also an outside shower. AC works increasingly. Full size washer and dryer. The view is stunning.Kat our property manager was incredible! She was fantastic to work with and responsive when we had questions.

Perfect Family Home

Family trip with 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The office/sitting room worked perfect as a fourth bedroom. The home had everything we needed and the pool was perfect for relaxing in the evenings after exploring all day. The internet was spotty for the first few days, then didn’t work at all the last four. But the home had tons of movies and shows on DVD and we actually didn’t mind being unplugged. We loved staying on the east side of the island. We were close enough to restaurants and beaches, but far enough away for peace and quiet. We will absolutely stay here again on our next trip!

It is on the east end of St Croix outside of Christiansted. The house was great, very nicely furnished and very comfortable beds. There was 3 full bathrooms plus an outdoor shower by the pool. We spent 2 weeks there and we were very pleased with the property. Having the pool was great after a day of snorkeling and sightseeing.

Nice quiet location. Beautiful views. Property Manager Sara very accessible and helpful. The only comment I have otherwise is some of the rooms are starting to show their age and could use some sprucing up. Nothing so bad that I wouldn’t stay there again however.

We have served the US Government overseas for the past 20 years, along with our two children. We were originally from the Northwest, but have also lived in Arizona and Washington DC. Our foreign postings included Kuwait, Czech Republic, Botswana, South Africa, Kenya, Italy and Canada. After so much travel, we searched long and hard for a place to call "home", and found it in St. Croix. After living in all weather conditions in countries large and small, we found the island to be the perfect blend of warm and welcoming residents, enjoyable activities, and relaxing vibe. As we won't retire for a bit longer yet, we thought we would share this amazing place with you...friends, family, colleagues, and visitors looking for that perfect place for a moment of peace. When living in Kenya we learned the word they say warmly to everyone - "Karibu", which means welcome! Welcome in our lives, welcome to our home and may you find this piece of paradise on St. Croix enjoyable!

Why they chose this property

We were impressed with this property from the moment we passed through the gate, and drove up the driveway with tropical plants. We truly loved the view, the quiet neighborhood, and the closeness and privacy of the beach. We really enjoy the east end, and know you will, too!

What makes this property unique

In addition to the terrific house with a pool, we were looking for a home that reduced our carbon footprint, and this house does just that. The solar power on this house has the capability of producing more energy than we use. Coming originally from Seattle and Portland, we grew up with a dedication to being as ecologically responsible as possible. This is very important to our children as well, and they are proud to call this house "home". Overall, we have found a property that meets everything we were looking for. Karibu! -The Hamblins
