The home was really nice and centrally located. The private beach access just across the street was convenient and the ocean views from the balcony provided the perfect spot for morning coffee or late evening relaxing. The condo was spacious and provided ample space for our group to hang out together or chill in your own spot. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals and plenty of seating at the table. One of the nicest and best laid our floor designs we’ve stayed in over the years.

Great place in a great spot. Neighbor was a little bit of a nuisance with barking dogs early in the morning, but had nothing to do with the host or the house. Overall a great experience, would stay here again.

Amazing property! My three teenage daughters appreciated having their own space to retreat to while on vacation. Can’t beat the location - we appreciate being in a more quiet setting but close enough to all of the fun in Carolina Beach. And the walk to the beach is extremely close, which is stellar. This was our second year at this property and we look forward to possibly another.

Pelicans perch was just perfect for our families. Directly across from the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. The three floors gave everyone enough space. The common areas were adequate for everyone to get together. The deck was beautifully appointed. The towels were plenty, the beds were comfortable, and all the Beach equipment was just perfect. Compared to Wrightsville Beach Kure Beach felt like a vacation. No traffic, hassles, no crowds, plenty of places for all types of food and very relaxing.

Pelican's Perch has become our family's favorite beach spot! The house is gorgeous and clean, the location can't be beat, and the property manager is tremendously supportive and responsive. When the grill went out, it was replaced immediately. This year, we really enjoyed riding through the neighborhood to the gorgeous bike path, with enough bikes in the garage for our family. The the view of the beach from the decks allows for a beautiful view of sunrises. The host is always very responsive in communication. We look forward to staying again next year!!

This home was absolutely perfect for our stay!! It was immaculately clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very comfortable furniture inside and out. Our favorite was all the family time we had on the porches!! I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about Pelican’s Perch! Oh and Barbara was an amazing host!! We plan to be back

Awesome rental. Has everything you need for your stay! We had an awesome time. The Amenities provided were great. Access to beach was just across the road. I would recommend the property book be updated with accurate check out time and procedures.no real issues and communication was great! look forward to renting again!!

The place was great. We had a minor issue with the upstairs TV cutting off from the Wi-Fi. The non-stick pots and pans were peeling so you might want to bring your own.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican's Perch! The home is very clean and well-maintained and was perfect for our larger family group. The host is very responsive and answered all of our questions. The private beach access was great, and we really appreciated the available beach gear in the garage. We've already planned our stay for next year!

This was the perfect place for us. Location is fantastic- views of the ocean, right across street from private beach. My kids loved the ping pong table. Enough space for everyone! Plenty of beach supplies- all in great condition. Barbara- manager- was quick to respond to our questions. Will consider again should we come back to Kure.

My family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The private beach access alone and proximity to it was amazing! With four bedrooms, my three teenage daughters were in heaven not having to share a bedroom. Ocean views despite not being beach front with strategically placed decks. The house had everything we needed from the washer and dryer, to extra beach chairs, to the well-equipped kitchen. And to top it off, the property manager was easy to get in contact with and very personable.

Feels like home

WE love this property! A cozy and comfortable home in a great neighborhood with access to island greenway PLUS access to the beach can't be beat! We enjoy the seating outside, with ocean breezes and views. This home suits us perfectly!

Spacious and well stocked with your initial basic supplies. Check in and out a breeze thanks to the property manager Barb. Be aware that the entertainment and living area is on the top floor so you will get your exercise climbing stairs. Could be a limitation to those of us with knee issues. Would have been nice to have an awning or some manner of shade on the top deck in order to enjoy the great ocean view in the morning thanks to a vacant lot directly across the street. Great place to enjoy the Carolina coast with friends and family. We will definitely be back!

Great family getaway

Amazing Home on Kure!

We had the best vacation at Kure this week! Pelican’s Perch is the perfect house with every amenity you can think of. Home owners were responsive and kind! We will be staying here again!

Fabulous Home!

Gary and Tracy’s home is absolutely beautiful and very well appointed. Our family, including our 2 and 5-year-old grandkids, enjoyed the space, beach toys, and being right across the street from a gorgeous stretch of beach! The home was absolutely spotless, and Barbara, the property manager, sent us great tips and information which made our stay super comfortable. We’d definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!!

Girls Trip-Just the Daughters and Me

WOW is all I can say about this home! We fell in love with this place the moment we walked in! We have stayed at many many beach houses and none have been ones we have ever wanted to return to, but this HOME (not house) is the one that we will always check first from now on ! FABULOUS lay out, comfortable sofas, comfortable beds, fantastic deck furniture and beach chairs as well! We really only needed to bring clothes and beach towels, everything else was there for us! Beach access right across the street, not to mention there is an empty lot directly in front of the house so you can see the ocean from both decks, so it’s like being oceanfront…Barbara the property manager is a sweetheart, she was on top of everything- hope to see her again when we return…don’t look any further, this is the place you want to rent, trust me!
