Great place near the river!

Lindsey was great to work with...available when we needed something. We used the kayaks and went into Mullet Lake and back...fun to sit and watch the boats go by. Close to Cheboygan and not far from Mackinaw City to watch the sunset!

Perfect getaway, close to many attractions.

The property was exactly as represented. Clean and comfortable, nice updates and in a secluded area near the river. While the property definitely exceeded expectations, Lindsey was particulary a pleasure to work with and quite a bonus resource. She was easy to communicate with, and a wealth of information about the local region. Our experience in the area was definitely enhanced based on the recommendations Lindsey provided. I would highly recommend the property.

Lots of room, inside and out; beautifully remodele

Very nice place, recently remodeled, so it feels new. Open floor plan makes it feel big. Kitchen has all new appliances, as well as washer dryer. Big yard outside and access to the river, including a dock and kayak and the river current was very gentle, so we all took turns doing that. We had a shorter stay, so didn't spend much time at the house. About 20 minute drive to Mackinaw City/ferry to Mackinac Island. Property owner, Lindsey, was very communicative and responsive before and during the stay. She took good care of us! Two things to note; if this is important to you. First no wi-fi and our Sprint phones only got 3G. You can drive into Cheboygan and get 4G and wifi at places. It wasn't a big deal for us. Second, there isn't air conditioning that we noticed. However, the temps were in the upper 80's when we were there and we had a nice breeze that swept through the house and it was comfortable. Great rental!

Great property

Rental was very clean and updated. We were on motorcycles so we didn’t have an opportunity to get firewood, lindsey had some on site that she offered up to us. Very nice perk. It did get rather warm in the home in the afternoon so air would have been nice. We hung out outside after we opened up the house and turned the plentiful fans on until it cooled down. It did get cool enough for us to sleep comfortably. Walk to the river was close and it was fun watching all the boat traffic pass by. Good experience.

The property was very clean and everything was available that you might need during your stay!

We enjoyed staying at the property. It felt like home. The neighbors were friendly. The property was very clean. Everything that you might need during your stay was available from linens to bandaids. We shopped at the local grocery store nearby. The was also a Walmart nearby. From the property it was about a half hour drive to Mackinaw City and from there just the ferry over to Mackinac Island. We would definately stay at the property again!

Cute, clean, quiet place

Nicely updated, love the floors and kitchen! The walk to the river is not far and is a quick drive into town. Birds and wildlife made for a lovely morning sipping coffee on the patio. Had a fire in the pit while we watched the full moon.

Beautiful Home

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lindsay's house. It was within walking distance to the river with kayaks available for our use. The neighbor was very friendly and helpful as well. I do think we will stay again but will make sure it is not during the really hot months as this home does not have air conditioning. If it did have air conditioning we were not able to find thermostat for it.

Fantastic property, beautiful like new hardwood floors (hickory I believe), clean, fresh paint, etc.

Very nice location with access to the Cheboygen River, fire pit, pool table, ping pong. Lake Huron only a short drive away, Mackinaw, and Wildreness State Park an easy commute. Beautiful northern Michigan experience.

Great little house close to Cheboygan

This was a perfect spot for 2 couples to stay while we explored Cheboygan and Mackinaw City on our way back from the UP. Located in a very quiet neighborhood about 3.5 miles from town. We made use of the backyard deck, and the kayak. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and spices making it easy for us to cook some meals. Lindsey was a terrific help with recommendations for destinations, etc. and made us feel welcome. We made a couple minor suggestions for towel racks in the bathrooms and handles on the closet doors. The washer dryer was an added bonus. If you enjoy coffee and a small bite try the State Street Coffee House in town. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful place and awesome host!

Thanks to Lindsey for an awesome stay! Not only was the house immaculate but she went out of the way to provide us with information on the area and recommend places to visit. She responded quickly to every email and was an awesome help. Our only regret was that we didn't spend more time on the nearby river. Highly recommend this beautiful home.

Nicely updated home in quiet neighborhood of Cheboygan

My friend and I stayed one night as we traveled from Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore one day to visit Mackinac Island the next. This home has been nicely updated, is clean and well furnished, and is in a quiet residential neighborhood of similar homes. The host (Lindsey) was excellent at communicating and answering any questions (where to shop, restaurant referrals, etc.). We had dinner at Pier 33 restaurant at Lindsey's recommendation, and were not disappointed.

Great Cheboygan Get Away

The house was very clean and welcoming. We didn't need anything while we were there, it was great that she had everything you would at home for the kitchen - just had to bring our food and drinks! The location on the river is great and the dock that the house has access to is brand new. The neighbors across the street were friendly too. The location was easy to find. The Pier 33 restaurant is super close and has delicious food. Also just heading into town the local Black Sheep Baa and Grill is a great place to grab a beer and a burger. I noticed that there was a full length mirror added in the bathroom closet (a previous comment)... Thank you!! We had to get ready for a wedding so it was definitely appreciated. The 2nd bathroom with the stand up shower wasn't really used much since the shower is so small... and we had 4 "grown" adults ;) It would have been nice to see the space next to that shower with a vanity sitting area so that when others were using the main shower another woman could be getting ready. It definitely isn't a deal breaker - we had no issues managing the shower and mirror time - but just a thought. We had a fabulous time staying. Most definitely would recommend it and will most likely be back again. Thank you Lindsey you were amazing.

Great location for a fall getaway

This is a very clean and updated home, a comfortable place for a small family or group to settle on a trip up north. It was just as it appears in the pictures. We drove up to Mackinaw during our stay (20-30 minute drive) and also made use of the nearby bike trails (5-10 minute drive away). The drive north gave us a great view of the fall colors as did the bike trails. The homeowner was helpful and friendly. We'll keep this house in mind for future trips!

Cute and cozy place to stay!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this adorable Cheboygan home right off of the Cheboygan River! Everything was beautifully decorated and up-to-date. The owner was readily available via text and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely stay again if ever vacationing in the Cheboygan area!

Great kitchen

We were there only 2 nights and for that it was fine. There were no lamps, only ceiling lights making it feel less than homey. Also the only mirror was above the bathroom sink and I could only see the top of my head. The house looked newly decorated and was lovely.

The perfect Northern Michigan vacation spot.

The pictures on the website do not do the house justice. The house looks brand new. It is has a very open and spacious feeling and the couch in the living room is the most comfortable couch I have ever sat on which was a bad thing because I did not want to get up after I sat down. The only thing that my wife and I were disappointed with was not being able to actually meet Lindsey especially after meeting some of her neighbors who only had good things to say about her. She was so helpful whenever we had a question and she sounded so nice over the phone. Thank you again for letting us stay in your home. We look forward to coming back again soon. Brian & Susan Swims

Great stay in Cheboygan

The house is on a quiet street at the end of a small subdivision - there was no street or neighborhood noise. House is very clean and comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful with local information, and more than accommodating for our schedule and plans for our stay. And a heated garage with a pool/ping-pong table...who else has that? I would stay here again without question.
