Why they chose this property
We chose the El Pomar District of Paso Robles because it captures everything we love about California wine country—beauty, serenity, world-class vineyards, and a sense of place that feels both timeless and distinctly Paso. This neighborhood sits just east of the Templeton Gap, where ocean breezes move through the hills and create one of the region’s most desirable microclimates. Warm days, cool nights, and stunning light shape the landscape from sunrise to sunset.
What drew us most to this area was the peaceful setting and the authenticity of the land. Surrounded by family-owned vineyards, olive groves, lavender fields, and working farms, the El Pomar District offers an immersive wine-country experience without sacrificing convenience. Even though it feels beautifully secluded, the neighborhood is only minutes from renowned wineries, tasting rooms, farm stands, and many of Paso Robles’ best restaurants. Guests can enjoy quiet mornings on the hilltop, then be wine tasting or exploring downtown Paso in a short drive.
The views here are extraordinary. Rolling vineyards stretch in every direction, framed by oak-studded ridges and open skies. Sunsets are especially memorable, with warm colors sweeping across the valleys of Paso Robles, Templeton, and Creston. At night, the area becomes peaceful and star-filled—perfect for relaxing, unwinding, and reconnecting with nature.
What we enjoy most about this neighborhood is its balance of tranquility and accessibility. It feels like a true retreat, yet everything visitors come to Paso Robles for—award-winning wineries, scenic drives, local markets, and the charm of small-town California—is close by. This area reflects the heart of Paso Robles: agricultural, welcoming, scenic, and rich with character. Choosing this neighborhood allowed us to create a luxury hilltop retreat deeply connected to the land while offering guests an extraordinary wine-country experience.
