Very clean. Host very prompt and responsive to messages. The downstairs bathroom is very small, but functional! Parking is free, which is great, but 1st come 1st serve and can be far from the property. Location was just a short drive to the metro, which was convenient. Overall great property and host!

Lovely comfortable property near Washington DC

Lovely comfortable property in the DC area conveniently located close to most places that we wanted to visit. We spent a good amount of time sitting outside in the fenced in back patio area. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked most meals for our trip and had no problems. The coffee pot didn’t appear to be working so we notified the host, and she brought a brand new coffee pot the same day. Communication with the host was responsive and quick. We’re We are already talking about rebooking with this property when we return.

Nice but only 1/5 baths

Very clean with easy check in/out. We were pleased with the rental but be aware it is only one full bath (with a shower) and one half bath (that was a tight fit for our larger ladies). To list as a 2 bath home is misleading. The ladies were not happy with my choice! Drip coffee pot is provided but no coffee available. All bedrooms are upstairs if stairs are a problem for you. This home is about 20 to 40 minutes from downtown DC depending on the traffic.

We loved our stay in this lovely home for its proximity to the amazing park and playground right out the front door. The one thing I would alert parents of young kids to is that there is no bathtub for bathing your littles, so just be aware, there is only a shower. The home was equipped with everything you would need for a great stay, even lots of popcorn, which is a favorite in our home! Parking was okay most days, but we ended up having to block off the spot in front of the house with the provided parking cone, and that helped. The main bedroom faces the front of the house and gets direct sunlight all day, which made the curtain-less window a little bit annoying (sun shines right in your eyes when you are in bed :), I bought black sheets and felt patches to block out the sunlight. The host was very kind and responsive. I made sure to take pictures of damage and scuff marks left by previous occupants, as they were noticeable. Unfortunately, not everyone is careful and takes care of homes as they should. Be mindful that this home is in a very outlying part of Alexandria with no public transport close by, you will definitely need a car. There was a Safeway supermarket close by, which was very helpful. Overall, I would recommend this listing for families and especially pet owners, as we were accommodated well. The park is the best selling point!
