This house is perfectly located to be able to leave your car parked(you'll want to, to skip looking for a spot) and walk. Close to the metro and everything in Old Town. Clean and cozy. Perfect for 3 adults. Well equipped, and the outside sitting area was a great place to unwind.
My partner and I were able to spend an amazing week together in this property, celebrating shared time in our long distance relationship. Comfortably furnished and modern with cute and appropriately nautical yet clean decor, the property was enjoyable, efficiently located by transportation, well-kept and stocked, and perfect for our stay. Communication with the owners was extremely responsive and friendly, and the overall environment of the entire process and stay was remarkably enjoyable. Our only concern was related to a minor power outage caused by the neighboring electrical work and not of fault of the property. Should we visit Old Town again, there is no doubt we will check this property’s availability!
The residence was fine. The location was good, close to the trolley stop and King street in Alexandria, Va. The owner was very helpful when our granddaughter got sick in directing us where to take her to the doctor. We had to leave early from our trip and never got to see Washington, DC. Our experience with this vrbo residence was excellent.
Great location! Close to the Metro and the waterfront. Lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping within walking distance. Very easy to get to the Metro to go into town for sightseeing.
There was a slight mix up with the cleaning company prior to our arrival but with a quick phone call and some text messages - everything got figured out very quickly. Owners were very responsive.
Great property! We stayed here for 5 days while visiting DC for Spring Break. The location was great. Just a half block off King Street, it was easy access to restaurants and shops. It was a 10 minute walk to the King Street station, which made riding the Metro an easy option. We made this walk early in the morning, throughout the day and late at night, and it was a safe, clean walk for our family. We drove to DC and parking our vehicle was easy and we were able to get a street spot on the same block. The location was a good size for our family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed and having a washer and dryer was a great add on. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and towels. We would stay here again.
What we loved: the location! King street is a short stroll down the sidewalk with shopping and dining options galore (although we didn’t make time for that and spent most of our time in DC). Quick 20 minute walk to the metro which we took into DC the first day.Great communication with the owners, quick responses to questions.Beautifully decorated and very clean, with high end attention to detail with a nespresso machine and good quality soap, shampoo, and conditioner for guests. Comfy beds, GOOD towels and sheets. Not so good: the size. The pictures make it seem much larger than it is. The realtor listing says it’s smaller than 700 square foot so with two stories it did feel quite cramped for our family of 4 (with two teenage sons). The bathroom is possibly the smallest I’ve ever used so no room for getting ready whatsoever (and it’s the only bathroom). I felt very claustrophobic in there. Perhaps an addition in the courtyard for a second bathroom would help?Overall it is a perfect spot for no more than 2-3 smaller sized people (you will be very uncomfortable if you are above average size like me).
The house is a perfect location in the Del Ray area. Very clean, the beds were comfy, and plenty of towels, pillows, & blankets. Walking distance to King street, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We will definitely stay here again. We had to contact the host before arrival to get the code and they immediately returned our text. Thank you for our stay! We look forward to next time. We had two couples stay here. Even though it is one bathroom, we had no issues.
