Absolutely the perfect little place for us for the week! So many walkable restaurants and so much history that you’re right in the middle of! Everything was wonderful and we had everything we needed. The floors creak but that is part of the charm! This was one of my favorite home stays and would love to return again. Hosts were extremely communicative and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay in Old Town Alexandria. It was such a easy walk to King Street to grab a bite to eat, shop and/or adventure. We would love to stay here again in the future. Perfect spot for my husband and me.

This home was clean and nicely decorated. I loved that we could walk to restaurants and shops. The host responded to any questions we had very quickly. I would definitely recommend this place. It was the perfect place to meet up with my sister and friend. Plus the ghost tour that started at the visitor center, ended maybe a block from the home.

Excellent location made it easy to get to local attractions and restaurants, whether walking or driving. Grocery store just a block away was handy. Description of the home in VRBO was thorough and accurate. No issues with the home for us, everything worked as advertised. Communication with the owners could not have been better; they answered every question we had within minutes of posting. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay,,, thanks!

I loved the house and the decor. It was really nice to have a place to go to after a long day at a Tech conference that was NOT a hotel room.

The home had the perfect Old Town Alexandria charm and uniqueness. I had my wedding “first look” here as well and it was amazing to have it as part of our special day. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great, and the amenities were plentiful. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We head a wonderful stay at The George, the house was so cute! Perfectly decorated, you could tell a lot of effort went into making sure everything was just right for guests. The location was perfect, just a five minute walk to everything in Old Town.

This gem of a place is perfectly situated in Old Town. Check in was very easy and hosts were very responsive. Ths courtyard was a nice morning sanctuary. Overall, we would stay here again. (Note: The steps and layout could be challenging for individuals with limited mobility.)

Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC styled lodging and enhanced our experience all the more. We look forward to making a trip back and will definitely seek out Kip and Bower Properties when we do!

It's such a cute spot right in the middle of everything! We ended up locking ourselves out because we locked the bottom lock smdh. I called an Collin picked up right away and guided me through the process of getting back in the house lol. We also appreciated the early and late check in options depending on availability. It was a very nice stay!!

Short Trip to Old Town Alexandria

We were in town for the K-pop concert. We stayed at the property for 2 days. It was a great place to stay, clean, comfortable and accommodating. I recommend the property to anyone visiting the DC area. We plan on staying here again next time we visit the DC area.

Cute and close

It was a very cute little townhome. We enjoyed the house and the location. It was perfect for walking around and enjoying the town. The 2 hour limit for on street parking was a surprise but it worked out very nicely.

A very comfortable, clean and quiet little house. Perfectly located for us (near our grandkids). Communication with the host was a highlight, especially when we accidentally locked ourselves out! She immediately responded with a quick solution. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was really comfortable.

Quirky, comfy and perfectly located!

Quirky in a great way! It is a historic home and this was a history vacation for us. It has a step up into the master bedroom, narrow yet navigable (and beautifully painted) stairs and creaky floors. All things we love about old houses. House was beautifully appointed with a lot of thought and care. The location is fantastic! We walked to the King St. metro station every morning and took the free trolley back every evening. It’s very close to restaurants, shopping, and anything else one might need. There were 3 of us and it perfectly suited our needs. Communication was lightning fast when I failed to follow directions and inadvertently locked us out of the house. We would definitely stay here again in the future!
