Perfect spot
The place was perfect for my wife and I. It had all the amenities you would need. Perfect location and very clean and comfortable. If we choose to go back to Cape Cod I would stay here again.
Excellent location convenient to restaurants, beaches and hiking. Also has an excellent view of the moon over the water at night. Easy and timely communications with Tony the host. The cottage was clean and well supplied meeting all expectations.
Beautiful location for our Cape Cod getaway clean and nicely furnished. . Cottage has everything you need with ice cream shop, restaurant, and groceries in walking distance. We'll stay there again!
A Truly Memorable StayWe had a wonderful time at this beautiful cottage. The property was absolutely spotless, and the view was nothing short of breathtaking-waking up to to that scenery each morning was a dream.Anthony, the host was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process completely seamless. His hospitality really added to the experience and made us feel right at home.If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views and a host that genuinely cares, this is the place. We're already looking forward to coming back!
The stay was awesome! Great location, greeted cordially by both the property manager and owner. Both were very pleasant and helpful! Made the whole stay a joy! I will definitely be back!
This is a lovely cottage situated on a beautiful piece of property. Amazing water views. Convenient to restaurants, shops and the Cape Cod Rail Trail. The owner was very accommodating, and the interior is quaint and a perfect decor for the Cape. We hope to return!
You could not ask for a cleaner spot with confidence that great care is taken for guests. The property is older, but care is taken to make sure everything is in tip-top shape. Very much enjoyed our stay.
We had another lovely weeklong stay at the cove house. Perfect size for a couple, charming cottage that has everything you'll need in the kitchen, patio, grilling, and the fire pit and swing in the backyard overlooking the water is a plus. Love the bird life on the shore and there's kayak rental nearby and historic windmill backdrop.
Had an incredible stay. The property is impeccable, in every way. The view is glorious and very relaxing. The location is convenient and central to all that is Orleans. It's also only minutes away from neighboring Eastham, Truro and Provincetown.
Truly special.
Cape cottage on beautiful Town Cove. It was very clean, neat, and comfortable. Woke up to daily water views. Enjoyed watching the swans, ducks, and geese who swam past from the large window on the cove and sitting on the front deck.
Location is close to Cape’s beaches, restaurants, and stores.
The owner, Anthony, was very responsive.
We highly recommend and plan on on staying here on our next Cape visit.

Basic house - very nice vacation!
We stayed here in August 2013 (not 2015) - Anthony was great about accommodating our particular dates (we were going from the Cape to NYC) and even offered to take our bicycles back to Boston if we didn't want to take them to NY with us. The cottage is basic but was very well priced. It has a nice water view of the inlet though for swimming you're better off going to one of the nearby national seashores. Walk up to the main road for one of the best fish markets - we ended up cooking in most nights because the fish & seafood was so great there.

Thanks Mike. You didn't have to make it sound so plain though !! Haha only kidding. See you next time. Tony
Thank you Tony! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back! The cottage is cozy and very cute with a great spot on Orleans Cove. The location is so convenient to everything ! Restaurants, shopping , Nauset Beach! We were lucky to witness a huge flock of loons migrating south for winter on the cove.. a once in a lifetime experience! We truly enjoyed the outside amenities of the cabin as well as the cozy and very nicely decorated interior! Top Notch! Thank you again! Best, Jeanne and Tom

Oh boy Jeanne you’re so nice! It was our pleasure to have you!!
Good location in downtown Orleans, walking distance to multiple restaurants. Great view of the Orleans Cove water and sunrise from the living room picture window and deck. Fully equipped kitchen, older appliances (coil top electric stove, small refrigerator with freezer on top). Rustic nautical decor, electrical outlets were a bit scarce as this is an older structure. Heat worked fine for cool October nights, did not use AC. Queen bed very comfortable. Good shower in the well lit bathroom. Excellent communication from the host Tony, very responsive, provides you with his cell phone number to answer questions if any issues arise. There was a slight glitch with check-in that the host readily worked out and gifted us a bottle of wine for the slight inconvenience. Would rent again if we were returning to Orleans.

Not quite what I expected
The cottage is small and needs updates, especially to the kitchen. The price was more than the cottage was worth. Overall, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to others.

Wow Daniel that's surprising.
Sorry you were/are so miserable.
I take this seriously, so allow me to defend myself:
You stayed 5 nights and I got $681.00 There's nothing I can do about the taxes or VRBO fees.
Most motels in the area are more $ for just a room, and they don't have any kitchen, nor do they have a big private deck overlooking the ocean, nor a private swing and gas fire pit down by the water. You should have tried them, I know u didn't use the fire pit because the propane tank is still full. Maybe the kitchen is small, but it has a new range, new full size fridge, microwave, keurig, etc., and is always kept very clean Most people on vacation don't care about cooking,... they patronize the local restaurants. And I guess you didn't approve of our furnishings which are mostly nautical antiques - as is our theme, since Orleans is an original french settlement with a rich nautical history. If you read the description prior, you'd have seen the size . Lastly, you told me to remove the pillows, sheets, towels because you wanted to bring your own. Generally our guests appreciate the "my pillow" giza bedding that we use. Again, sorry you didn't enjoy your stay but you apparently didn't choose to try any of our amenities.
Btw your wife left a nice note for our housekeeper, Margie says thanks.

Outstanding Views
My husband and I stayed at this cozy, cove side cottage in August. What a perfect cottage it was! From the large picture window in the living room that gave us a breathtaking view of the Cove every morning, to the beautiful deck where we would sit in the evening watching the kayakers and paddleboarders.
Tony, the owner, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The cottage itself was incredibly clean and very well maintained.
Nauset Beach is only a short car drive away and is, far and away, one of the best beaches around. We even saw a whale on the horizon as we were sitting on the beach one day! Arnold's in Eastham is another must for the fried clams.
I will definitely be back again this year, can't wait!!!!

Lovely cottage in a convenient location!
My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights here at the end of June and I'm so glad we found this place! The cottage was very cute and comfortable, and of course being right on the water was great. We enjoyed lounging outside after beach days and sitting by a fire at night. There are a good amount of restaurants within walking distance as well as a liquor store and Stop & Shop (the cottage has a DVD player and the Stop & Shop has a Redbox if you want a quiet night in). Also, the Cape Cod Rail Trail is about a 10min walk from the cottage which was perfect for us as we are training for a marathon. The cottage was very clean and the AC worked well. Tony was very quick to respond when we had questions and was very helpful and concerned that we would have a nice stay. I was sad to leave and would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay here. Part of a cluster of 3 cottages. Cottage recently renovated, freshly painted and nicely decorated. Spotlessly clean. Windows have optional catches to limit how far they can be raised from outside. Completely furnished—even two TVs and a window AC. Coin laundry in separate building. Just off busy 6A with a supermarket and restaurants within walking distance across the road but far enough away from and below the road so street noise no issue. Great view of cove. Tony the owner could not have been more helpful and is a very nice person.
Everything about this cottage was great! Nestled on the cove in Orleans, you can walk to several restaurant and shops in Orleans and have easy access to get up and down the Cape. The cottage sits right on the cove , so the views are outstanding! The cottage has everything you need, very clean and well maintained. The owner was always available if needed. I highly recommend this spot to a couple looking for a cape cod get away! We’ll be back!

Savor the moments!
We had a wonderful vacation. The cottage was comfortable and though a one bedroom never felt cramped. My favorite part was the deck overlooking the cove. Ideal for reading, having a glass wine ,dinner ir a real treat for a city dweller- stargazing!
The cottage is also very convenient to shopping, restaurants and beaches.
It is off a main road but nevertheless is quiet.
I recommend it.

The place was absolutely perfect for our needs! scenic, clean, walking distance to food and grocery, couldn't have asked for a better place. Location was nice and communication with owner was excellent as well. We were recently in town for a wedding and this house was a perfect escape. Older yet very clean and well maintained cottage with everything needed and an incredible view.
We had a great and quiet weekend get away for our Anniversary. The cottage is just what we were looking for in a simple waterfront cottage with a nice fireplace for a very comfortable feel on a couple of cool October nights. It is a great location for short day trips to anywhere from Chatham to Provincetown. I am sure we will stay again.

About the host
Hosted by Anthony
Hi. I was born and still live in Boston, and have been coming to the cape my whole life - finally my family was able to buy our dream property and welcome guests to the place we love.
Why they chose this property
It took me over 2 years of driving every street on Cape Cod to find a perfect place that was near the center of town - but also on the ocean,... that's extremely rare! The Orleans town cove offers that unique combination !
What makes this property unique
We are not happy unless you are happy. We want you to have fun and come back again.
