Katama Bay View Four Bedrooms - Ferry Tickets Available

This four bedroom home on a beautiful two acre lot with a view of Katama Bay is the perfect place for your Vineyard vacation. The entire house has been furnished for a relaxed stay for your family. The address off Edgartown Bay Road is the the ultimate location. You have privacy and at the same time you are about a half mile to South Beach or a bike ride to Edgartown Village.

Our new solar panels will supply all the power for your vacation. Convenient recycling and composting options will make your special vacation a complete green experience!

The 2nd floor of this "upside down house" has an open floor plan which includes a great room, kitchen and dining room. Great room and dining room have beautiful water views and sliders to the deck. We have furnished the living area with a sectional from Bloomingdale’s and additional pieces from Crate and Barrel. Our decorator chose all the fabrics for a beautiful and comfortable Vineyard living space. There is a Samsung 42” HDTV. The kitchen is equipped with every appliance and gadget you may want. The deck, which also enjoys a water view, has a grill, dining table and chairs and lounge chairs. The second floor master bedroom has a soothing Tempur-Pedic king bed, HDTV, walk in closet and full bath. The second floor has a southern exposure to give you light all day and A/C to keep you cool.

On the first floor there are three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. Walk though the den with sofa and HDTV to the very large third bedroom with one queen bed. The first floor also features a full bath and laundry room.

Directly across the street to the north, is the 17-acre Huckleberry Barrens conservation land owned by the Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation.

Perfect for a family

This was a great house for a family. We enjoyed sunrises on the deck every morning! Everything was clearly and accurately described! Our host, Joe, took care of everything. This is a lovely home and we felt comfortable enjoying it.

Perfect family vacation house

Perfect roomy house with large bedrooms and living area great for gathering the whole family. Nice short walk to spectacular South Beach. Best kitchen ever in a vacation rental - well stocked, everything needed to prepare family meals. One rainy night everyone prepared a dish and we had plenty of room to cook together. Owner was very responsive and attentive. Highly recommended!

Comfortable home and great location

Home is very comfortable with open kitchen and living area and nice-sized bedrooms. Views of water and preserve from second floor decks. Owner was very responsive. Fantastic location in Katama.

Having a Vineyard home was our dream for 20 years. We have rented homes all over the Island and finally found the perfect one We have always left our rentals in pristine condition and wish to find guests who will do the same.

Why they chose this property

We rented in every town on the Vineyard over 20 years and decided this Katama location is a great combination of water views, privacy, walk to beach and bike path to town. The Edgartown Bay Road area is very close to South Beach and we enjoy walking in this neighborhood, breathing the lovely Vineyard air and viewing the stars at night. Our favorite activity is to take our beach chairs and lunch and drive onto pristine South Beach about a half mile away.

What makes this property unique

If you have a kayak or boat, the Edgartown town landing is just a short distance away. When you arrive, take a walk around Edgartown Bay Road and you will understand why this is such a special place. Don't forget to ride your bikes to the Katama Airfield for the most yummy breakfast on the island.
