A car is convenient in Los Angeles but not entirely necessary. The orange line is less than a mile away which connects to the entire metro to get you to downtown, Hollywood, or the beach! Uber and lyft are also very useful and inexpensive compared to taxis. The flyaway bus is close by too which goes to LAX and back continuously through the day.

We enjoyed it.

The house had everything we needed. Shopping and restaurants are very close by. There is a large park area just down the road with running trails, playgrounds, archery and more. I would stay here again. Thanks very much!

Good Value for Los Angeles

Our family of four stayed here for 6 nights over New Years. The kitchen was updated. The bedrooms were spacious. The hardwood floors were creaky but ok. Had all the little things needed like laundry soap and coffee. Overall neat and clean. The neighborhood was calm and close to the 405. Several stores close by. Nice suburban location .

The house itself was very nice, good neighborhood. It was close to where we needed to be (Sherman Oaks, Studio City). The size was good for us, we traveled with another adult. Having said that, the little things were hit and miss. When we first came in at night, multiple burned out lights greeted us. Also the first shower was memorable, there was body wash instead of soap which we encounter a lot, but there were no wash cloths to apply the body wash, and no bar soap. Seems to me that you have to go one way or the other, bar soap or wash cloths.

Sheri was very easy to work with, she was there to meet us at the house when we arrived. The house was very clean, had everything we needed for our 3 night stay with two families of 4. After staying in hotels for over a week, we really enjoyed cooking a healthy meal for ourselves. Trader Joe’s and Costco are nearby. Cooking oil and spices are left in the kitchen so you just need the fresh groceries. The location is great. Quiet neighborhood, close to the 405 and Univetsal Studios. We will definitely keep this place in mind next time we come down to LA.

Comfortable house

This house was perfect for our family of four. It is comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet, and even though the house is near the freeway, you can’t hear traffic from indoors. The owner is friendly and helpful. We stayed for five nights while visiting family for Christmas.

Great location for visiting LA!

We enjoyed our stay in the Van Nuys home. It was convenient to all the LA has to offer. Home was just as described. Owner was very responsive and available for anything we needed. Our only recommendation would be a new set of pots and pans as wells as a few more basic kitchen utensils.

Bang for your buck.

Well equipped rental. We found everything we needed around the house. Plenty of room for a family of 5. We were met at the house for a quick tour. Close to all our adventures. Santa Monic Pier, Universal Studios, Hollywood Sign, Walk of Fame, LA Zoo, Malibu, and Will Rogers Beach ( not crowded at all!). The only down fall was being woke up by the construction being done in the back of the property. That is temporary.

We couldn't have asked for a better getaway than Sheri's charming and lovely house.

I wish I could give this house a 4.5 star rating because that what it truly is. Sheri is an excellent host; quick to answer any questions, met us personally at the property, and was truly interested in the success of our vacation. Close to Harry Potter World. Just as we hoped it would be. We would definitely recommend this to our closest friends.

Very comfy

I loved the house, perfect for our family of 5. The is a floor pull out bed that was perfect for my 1.5 year old so he wouldn't fall off the bed. Owner was very attentive and was able to meet us even though we arrived later than expected. Location was great, 20 minute from universal studios and Hollywood wood and about 36-40 from beaches. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to fellow visitors, friends and family. Hope house is still available for our next vacation.

The house was great it was extremely clean and very comfy it was homey which made my family feel right at home I am very glad that I picked this house I was refunded my security deposit within moments after leaving it was a nice quiet neighborhood extremely close to everything I needed to go to while we were there we went to Venice Beach Hollywood Malibu Universal Studios Six Flags Magic Mountain and had a great time thank you I will be back

Great home, close to LA attractions.

Home was very clean in a nice neighborhood. Easily slept our 7 (3 kids and 4 adults). It was close to Universal Studios and the beach, our two big destinations. We loved coming back from a long day having the space to relax and not be stuck in a hotel room. The weather was great and the back yard provided a nice outdoor patio area to relax with a drink or two in the evening. All the amenities provided were perfect. We never wanted for something in the kitchen or bathroom. I would definitely stay here again for another SoCal vacation. We highly enjoyed the trip and a large part of that was the ease and comfort of the home. Sherri was great and met us on arrival and walked us through getting our vacation off to a great start. Thank you!

Cute home, great stay

We had a great time at this rental. Decor was super cute. Everyone slept comfy. Nice neighborhood. I felt safe. Only thing we had to get was food and some more toilet paper. Well stocked with pots/pans dishes. It's like staying at a time share. Smart tv in living room, we enjoyed it. Deff will rent again next time.

Nice home! Nice area!

After a 26 hour drive from Louisiana, my family and I really enjoyed our stay at this home. The owner greeted us and made us quite comfortable. We loved the natural light in the home, updates and the nice backyard with the orange tree. We stayed in this property for 1 week. We did not want to leave. We would recommend this property and would stay at it again when we visit California again.

Nice and Cozy!
