With newly whitewashed walls, and deep-cleaned between guests, this home has a spacious living area with shuttered windows, high ceilings, a working fireplace, and hardwood floors. Large flat-screen TV in the living room and master bedroom. The dining area is adjacent with a large toy closet, a small library, an upright piano, and a washer driver in a separate closet. The kitchen is fully equipped, with granite countertops, breakfast bar, many appliances, a white gas stove, Keurig coffee machine, and more. Built-in desk for your work-at-home comfort and high-speed internet throughout. Comfy pillow top queen mattress with luxury linens in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. Bathrooms are fully upgraded and tiled with a bathtub in one and an oversized shower in the other. Pack-and-play crib and highchair are available on request. Large grassy secure backyard for you to enjoy, child-friendly, dogs welcome, comfortable entertaining with barbecue and shade. 2 car parking in the driveway and ample free street parking for guests.

Misplaced for some time

We experienced a flood in our home and found ourselves needing housing for my husband, myself and our dog. We were at a hotel while our baby was at a kennel. We reached out to Vicky and she was helpful and gracious every step of the way. She allowed us to check in early and she was accommodating when we had to extend our stay due to construction issues. Her home is very clean and inviting. The neighborhood is very nice and safe. Thank you Vicky for all of your kindness. We highly recommend this property. If your nurses traveling for an assignment it’s perfect. Near to many hospitals.

Comfy Home for the Family

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Sherman Oaks. The neighborhood was charming and the house was easily accessible from many freeways (we were visiting family in all directions :-). The beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen clean and very nice - just like the photos on the listing! It achieved everything we wanted for our stay and we would stay again.

Our favorite!

This is our 2nd year staying here for Thanksgiving. Beautiful house in a nice, walkable neighborhood. Easily accommodated 8 for dinner. A couple of dish towels would be nice, but otherwise great. We will be back!

Comfortable 2 bedroom house.

We enjoyed being at Vicky house. It had the basic you need for a vacation. Close to shops, restaurants, and freeways. We had to cut our stay short and Vicky was nice to work with and understanding of our situation. Working with VRBO and Home Away was a nightmare for me. Every time I had a problem or needed to talk to them. It was horrible. They are quick to take my money but that's all they wanted to do. They're service fee is outrageous. They go by the percentage of the rental house I payed. They only service they did was take my money. When I have a problem they didn't want to help me. One time someone hung up on me.

Lovely home away from home

This home was exactly what we needed for our stay. It was clean and very comfortable, the perfect place to snuggle in after a day of touring LA. Vicky made sure every bit of information you might want was laid out and easily accessible. It was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay delightful. I would definitely recommend this property and will stay again when visiting my kids.

Great Sherman Oaks House

We stayed here for two weeks in August while visiting our daughter and her family a few blocks away just off Ventura. The house was perfect for our needs, very nicely furnished and in a good location. We were able to walk to some great restaurants on the Boulevard just a couple of blocks away (try the French Toast at the Blu Jam Cafe) and also had good access to the freeways to take us to the beaches or to Beverly Hills, Hollywood, etc. Vicky was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

Very nice place

The house is very clean and well-maintained, the location is very good and safe. Vichy is a very nice host, she give us detail direction in this area and respond our question very quickly. We have happy time for 50 days in this house for our vacation in Los Angeles. I'll stay again when I come Los Angeles again.

Charming and beautiful home

We spent four delightful nights in this beautiful home in Sherman Oaks. The home is spotless and fully equipped with all that we could ask for and tastefully decorated and designed...lovely hardwood floors and antiques. The kitchen is lovely and we enjoyed making several meals there during our stay. The bedrooms are comfortable with very high quality bedding. The home also has a lovely fenced in large yard and a patio easily accessed via sliding glass doors from the kitchen - ideal for enjoying the evening outdoors. We hope to return often in the future!

Perfect home to rent

I recommend this cottage to everyone. It is all updated and clean and bright with shiny hardwood floors. My wife and I walked to Ventura Blvd and easily reached Universal Studios and the Getty Museum. The home is equipped with everything we needed, even champagne glasses and a log fire so we could celebrate my wife's birthday in style. Classy, quiet and very comfortable, we'll come again!
