Would 100% recommend this place to stay. Jessica was so welcoming and invited our girls in the evening to feed their calves. She gave us her personal wifi password when we did not have service. She passed along her cell phone number so that we could communicate. She met us when we were leaving the next day to make sure everything was good. As for the accomodations; it was tight to fit 4 people for the night, but we made it work. The outdoor shower was excellent, and the port-a-potty was spotless. The area was beautifully lit, there was firewood at the site along with multiple citronella candles, lighter, a BBQ and charcoal, towels for showering, lanterns, extra blankets, etc. If we are ever in the area again, we would choose to stay here 100%.
The listing does not match reality. The advertising is misleading, and the property fails to provide basic safety for children. There is no lighting on the walkway, which creates a serious hazard. Inside, there is no hot water and no functional bathroom, making the stay uncomfortable and unacceptable. This property needs major improvements before it should be rented to anyone.
