We were PLEASANTLY surprised at how spacious and wonderful this cabin was. THe reason i gave 4 stars about the listing was because it was BETTER than the pictures show. It worked great for our family of 6. Lots of room to sleep but cozy enough that we didn't feel like everyone was separated. Close enough to towns with plenty to see and eat.
Peaceful landing spot with kids and pets. Lovely cottage with user friendly decor! Kate was the perfect hostess with excellent instructions and communication!!
Perfect country get away. The cottage was just the peaceful retreat I needed. Swimming in the pond and resting at home, listening to the wind rustle through the trees. Hosts were so responsive and helpful!
This lovely little cabin in the woods exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable, cozy, and well equipped for our needs. The host contacted us to check in and make sure that we had everything we needed and was very responsive to our requests. We hope to return to this beautifully crafted place again someday.

About the host

Hi! I traded Florida sunshine for Maine charm in 2018, following my now-husband—and never looked back. I’m a proud dog mom to two spoiled pups. I started my cleaning business two years ago because I genuinely love creating beautiful, welcoming spaces and have a sharp eye for detail. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking, cooking something delicious, or enjoying cozy time with my family.
Why they chose this property
It’s very peaceful and private neighborhood but in the same time well-connected to everything you need, like restaurants, shops, hiking trails and more
What makes this property unique
This home has been in my husband’s family for many years, and we recently purchased it from his parents to continue its story. It’s always been filled with love, and now we’ve added our own fresh touches while keeping its original charm. Every detail reflects care, warmth, and intention—making it feel cozy, welcoming, and truly like home from the moment you arrive.
