Welcome to the Lake House at Keuka Lake! The house is situated in a great location that is only steps to Keuka College, minutes from Penn Yan and in the heart of wine country. Keuka Park offers a close knit community that is perfect for walking and biking around Keuka Lake, as well as close proximity to restaurants and stores. Turn off RT 54A and Central Avenue and onto our quiet street which mainly consists of local traffic. The driveway offers ample off-street parking for up to three vehicles and is only a few steps to the front door making unpacking easy and quick. The exterior offers updated landscaping and a manicured lawn with a partially fenced in backyard. The backyard includes a covered porch with outdoor seating for you and your family to enjoy the weather and outdoor dining. Also, included is a gas grill for outdoor grilling and Adirondack chairs to enjoy the sun.
The interior of the home offers plenty of space for up to 8 guests. The house includes four spacious bedrooms (two on each floor) each with a queen or double bed, providing plenty of room for guests to catch some shut eye after enjoying a long day at the lake. All you need to do is bring your own linens. There are two full baths (one on each floor) allowing guests plenty of space to quickly get ready to enjoy many of the local wineries, shops and restaurants. The kitchen offers all the basic necessities to cook a meal, if you choose to stay in to eat. The house also offers a spacious living room and dining room and comes with cable television and wired/wireless internet.
Take a short stroll down to the lake and enjoy the 50 foot dock and a 37 foot naturally shale beach and wade into the water (no sea wall). Please note the home and lakefront are divided by a road. If you have any questions about the property layout, please inquire before booking. The walk down includes a gradual decline. Adirondack chairs and a gazebo with a 180 degree view of Keuka Lake greet you when you arrive. The gazebo and large oak tree offer a great source of shade. The 50 foot dock provides you with a great place to park your boat. Just launch and load your boat from one of the local boat launches.

Perfect Getaway at Keuka Lake

Very clean home that is centrally located to the many area attractions. We enjoyed the walk to the lake frontage to take in the amazing views. Great communication with the owner from the time of our first inquiry until we checked out.

Great week!

Great week here at Keuka Lake. Clean and easy access to house. Waterfront was beautiful! Easy short walk down to water. The waterfront had a nice beach, fire pit and dock for our boat. The gazebo was nice to sit in and get out of the sun. Thank you for letting us stay, we had a wonderful week!

A Nice Place Except ........

The house was adequate and clean. 2 bedrooms are in the basement. The house has no air conditioning and for the first 3 days of our stay the inside temperature was 88 degrees. There were fans in the bed rooms and livingroom but they really didn't help. What the photos do not show is that the lake is at least the length of a football field downhill from the house .

Perfect Place for Fsmily Vacation

We loved the property. The house was clean and there was a plenty of space for everyone. The lake front is a short distance from the house, perfect for having a lakeside fire which we did every night but one during our week stay. We docked our 18’ pontoon boat with no problem. The owner was very prompt and clear with communication. Would recommend. .

1st Time Visit To Keuka Lake

We had a great stay and really loved the house. Very clean and great communication by the owner. The location is perfect for us. Just a short walk to Keuka College and a quick drive to local restaurants and stores. Can't wait to book another stay at this house!!

Wonderful vacation cut short

My family of 2 adults and 2 kids (10 & 12) were really enjoying our stay until mother nature had other plans and decided to cut our trip short by flooding the finger lakes region for the first time in 40 yrs. We really appreciated the communication with the owner and his understanding and thoughtfulness. Can't wait to come back!!!

Get away time!

It was very nice and clean. Enjoyed the home and the organization and thought that went into the home for people to stay. The details did matter. In the description online to appeared that the house was right on the lake, but it wasn't. Launching our boat in town worked out and the dock was nice. The area was quiet. Enjoyed the lake and surrounding area. We would stay there again. Loved having the bomb fire by the lake.

Love the location

We’ve rented this house for several years for our Keuka vacation. We have life-long ties to Keuka Park, so it’s like coming home for us. The house has plenty of space and is always clean! The owners are great to work with and very accommodating. It’s location is great-close to ice cream, wineries, breweries, shops, restaurants, etc.-and is right there in the college community which offers a great area for walking, biking, running, and in the past, community concerts. We enjoy relaxing by the lake in the gazebo the most!

Nice place

The house was excellent and Drew is a meticulous owner and quick to communicate. It had everything we needed. The basement is naturally cool in summer so we could be comfortable in the house despite the extreme heat while we were there.

Wonderful vacation spot

We rented this home for a week at the end of June and had a wonderful time! The lake is just a few steps away and the frontage is very nice. We enjoyed the gazebo and fire pit. The dock was great for our boat. The home is well maintained and very clean. Would highly recommend this place for your next family vacation!

Always the Best!

We love staying in this house!! Our family roots go back to Keuka Park, so spending our vacations here is just like coming home. When our longtime summer vacation rental was sold, we searched for several years to find a new spot, and this is it! I think this is our 6th year at Drew’s house. The house is always immaculate and has everything you need. Our morning stroll down to the lakefront is the perfect way to start the day! And, Keuka Park is not only a great community, it’s the perfect location to have access to everything around around the lake. It is always a pleasure working with the owner, Drew. He kindly communicates all you need to know, responds to questions in a timely manner, and is conscientious and helpful. This is a great place for us to continue family traditions and make new memories!

Very Good and Functional Home

We needed an extra house for some family members to stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. This house was a great place to stay and met our needs. Two nit picky issues: 1. Basement rooms were a bit cold this time of year, but I would imagine they would be great during the lake season. 2. I wish there was one room with a bigger bed. I base my overall rating on if I would stay at this house again. I definitely would.

Quick weekend visit

The property was very clean and convenient to town. We did not spend time at the lake as we were visiting PennYan for other reasons. It was exactly what we needed for our stay. Visitors should know that bringing your own linens also means bringIng your own pillows. There are hand towels and bath mats in the bathrooms and dish towels in the kitchen. The kitchen had a good Amount of supplies, the living area was comfortable, the bedrooms were a good size, and the back deck/table area was nice too. There is enough space to park 3 cars. Check in/out was very easy.

It was very clean and the location was easy with local sites , it would be helpful to have a shelf in the downstairs shower and maybe quilts on the beds to use with our linens

Enjoyable weekend

Drew's house is just as he lists it. Our family enjoyed his home with space for our 2 grandchildren, ages 16 months and 3 years old, to play. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and utensils to cook with. You will need to bring your own cooking supplies, including basics like salt and pepper. There is great detail in labeling throughout the house, which makes it easy to follow Drew's instructions on where items go. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs with queen mattresses. The master bedroom seemed to have the nicest mattress. Renters need to bring all bedding, including blankets and bedspreads. All beds had a plastic mattress protector. The downstairs/basement bedrooms are full size mattresses. The bathrooms have floor mats (which I wasn't sure of, and brought my own). There is a hand soap dispenser in each of the 2 bathrooms and by the kitchen sink, along with a bar soap for showering. The kitchen also has soap for the dishwasher and dishsoap, as well as laundry detergent. Renters need to bring kitchen towels and dish rags, because those are not supplied. The furniture shown is true to the home. There is a nice patio table and chairs for use. I found the Adirondack chairs at the house very comfortable. The Adirondack chairs by the lake are not the same wooden quality, they are stackable plastic ones. This is just a point of reference, not a criticism. The lake access is a short walk from the house. The house is not positioned directly across the street, so you aren't crossing a street, rather walking alongside the house next door onto the lake access. If you are looking for a decent place to enjoy a relaxing getaway, and dont mind bringing all the items needed to be comfortable, this is a great place and Drew is very quick to respond and answer questions. Hope this post is helpful!

Memorable vacation

The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed to eat on the wonderful porch on the back of the house. Fenced yard makes it very private place. Close to the lake. View was great from the gazebo on the shore and dock. The area had many different things to do. Close to Pen Yan, wineries and parks. The only thing this house was missing, is the air conditioner. It is very hot inside when the temperature hits 80F and above.

Hidden Gem on Keuka Lake

Spent an entire week with the family at this lake home. Drew was great, from booking to check-in he was friendly and helpful. The home was very clean and comfortable. The corner lot made it feel spacious, ample parking and green space. The kids particularly enjoyed the fenced in back yard during the mornings and evenings. There was enough room on the back deck to enjoy dinner and enough private space to let the kids run around and play yard games. Everyone in the area was friendly and congenial. Charlie, the next door neighbor, was a joy. His stories and upbeat personality were enlightening and entertaining. The water frontage, including the dock, was great! We spent most of our evenings wading in the water, fishing off the dock and enjoying smores around the fire pit. The entire stay was an overall pleasant experience. I highly recommend this lake house to anyone who is looking for a low-key, comfortable, enjoyable and roomy stay on Keuka Lake. We will be booking again in the future!
