A cozy two bedroom cabin with small kitchen, 3/4 bathroom, and screened porch. Double bed on main level, bunk bed with double and twin beds in loft. Beautiful views of the lake from the loft. Linens are provided, and kitchen is supplied with all cookware needed. Surrounded by stately pine trees, you are just a few steps away from 3000 acre Grindstone Lake. This cabin has that small resort feel to it. Walk or bike the quiet canopied road down to the coffee shop. Bring your boat and fishing tackle and head out to hook some fish for dinner, or catch a big, trophy muskie! Only a fifteen minute drive from the city of Hayward. Up to four kids 16 and under stay free! No WiFi

Cute Cabin!

Beautiful lake, beautiful area! There were a few things left in the cabin (water bottle, barrette, ring) but the main parts of the cabin were clean!.The bed was super comfortable and the teens loved the loft. Star gazing was a bit tough with the street light in front of the cabin and somebody was running their a/c all night which made it difficult to hear the loons, but the lake was so very clear and everybody I talked to was extremely friendly!

Fishing Grindstone Lake

The cabin main floor was perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed the beautiful clear lake. Fishing was good once we found a grouping of smallmouth bass. We did have difficulty finding an overnight parking place for our boat and trailer. Lakeview Village represents 10 cabins with only one or two parking spots for each cabin. Our cabin had one parking space so a neighboring cabin owner reluctantly allowed us to park our boat on his lot overnight so we could leave early the next moring.
