Everything was as expected. Cabin is cozy but was perfect for us. Very clean on arrival and had everything we needed. Parking for a truck and boat was very convenient. Loved our stay and we will be back.
Beautiful location & clean cabin.
I was expecting a few more amenities considering it was listed as a VRBO. I’m glad I brought my own coffee and didn’t need a tissue! I left early because the bed I slept in gave me a horrible backache.
For the outdoorsman it would be good.

Not great
Hopefully this cabin will be getting remodeled like the one next to it was having done next to it. I don’t like leaving complaints, but this was disappointing. I’ll preface by saying it was “clean”… but everything was so old and outdated and just plain wore out. The bathroom was pretty gross. The carpet was older than old. There were areas of the floor it felt like I might fall through if I stepped too hard. The beds were horrible. We were really excited to spend the weekend on the lake, but after getting hardly any sleep the first night we changed our plans, packed up and went brewery hopping towards home instead of staying the second night. Using filtered pictures to make the space look nicer than it is, is rather misleading. Having a list of rules posted inside making sure to state no refunds for early departures was nice too. Guessing there have been lots of others leave early and try to get refunds. Wonder why. Like I said, hopefully they remodel, it has potential.

Response from VrboOwner on 29 September 2022
From the owner: "Joe, thanks for staying with us! We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay in our home.
- Thank you for explaining the house was clean! We clean the cabins ourselves and spend a lot of time doing so.
- These cabins are very old. They are part of the historical society here, which is super cool! But unfortunately, we have to update one cabin a year and this one is not to be updated until next year.
- I apologize for the notes on the wall, those were actually there from the previous year before we owned it. We just purchased this last August, so it has been a fun adventure so far.
- Again, I apologize this cabin was not up to your expectations. I appreciate you for checking our place out and maybe sometime in the future you can come again after the updates. Thank you again!"
