located in Freeport , Montego Bay. This air conditioned studio is close to Secrets Hotel , Sunscape Resort (old Seawind hotel) , Yacht club and old Hard Rock Cafe site where we offer free access to Hard Rock's white sand beach. There is a spa next to where the Hard Rock cafe was. Also next door at the Yacht club is the ever popular Seahorse Grill restaurant. The House Boat restaurant is 4 minutes away by car. While it is a short distance (10 minutes )to the Hip Strip , Craft Market and several other Montego Bay attractions. Twelve (12) minutes to the airport. Good transportation is available just outside the gate where there is a taxi stand for both route and chartered taxis. We are close to shops , supermarkets (Progressive supermarket or MegaMart supermarket), fast food outlets , other restaurants and several banks. The studio is situated in a fully gated complex. Freeport is one of the safest areas in the city of Montego Bay. We offer free high speed WiFi and cable TV. There is a safe for your valuables. The tap water is drinkable. Parking is free.

Our Stay at Seawind on the Bay

This property was very cozy and just right for two and the time we spent. We appreciated the complimentary drinks and beach pass. We enjoyed our time and would definitely book again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Clean rooms, close on beach, Petronia was the best host, she supplied me with a cell phone to get ahold of my friends that traveled with me and to call around to get information. I highly recommend this condo and will definitely be going back. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had a kitchen with everything you needed to cook and eat with. I am Very happy with my stay in Jamaica. Thank you again Petronia for the wonderful stay.

Amazing

Petronia was absolutely amazing and friendly and super helpful. She let us check in early. She made sure to communicate with us if we need anything if we like our stay. We have access to this private beach across the street with a car that she provides. There was always a security there to greet us and let us in and out the pool was beautiful. Everything was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend it. It’s also very peaceful and clean. Love our stay. Thank you Petronia

Because of cockroaches stay cut short

Because of cockroaches in the apartment. I had to cut the stay short. Cleanliness is my top priority when staying at a vacation, rental or hotel. Unfortunately, VRBO support or host did not offer any help.

Val R stayed at our unit. Spoke with us two-three times daily. At no time was there any mention of a problem in the unit. Their only wish was that we had a washer in the unit. This fabrication was only to get a free stay as a chargeback was made to my account for the entire stay. We were not paid for the days the guest stayed and left the apartment in a very dirty/filthy state. A perfect nidus for insects. Is this someone who believes in cleanliness?

Brief Getaway

I was skeptical in renting in this location as we have always stayed on or near the hipstrip, but we were presently surprised. The host was very patient with all my questions. I was working remotely for a few days during our trip. The property was as advertised. I ventured around the property on day 3 and found the grounds to be awesome! Everyone we encountered either living or visiting were very nice. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, this is the place!
