We enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. It was exactly as described and the property manager was very responsive to my inquiries. Would definitely stay again.
This property was great for a college student staying in butte for a teacher observation. Is on the smaller side, so I would recommend it for couples or groups of 3. The space overall was very clean and we greatly appreciated staying here! Was fairly quiet neighborhood, with the primary noise being the highway.

We apologize Abe, our furnace and hot water heater went out. What luck right?? We did personally, not only answer and respond promptly to your late night texts, but we offered to refund your reservation should you choose to relocate to one of the hotels down the road. You then declined to leave, still wanted a refund however, and threatened to leave this review if we did not provide you a full refund. The water heater has been replaced and the furnace has been serviced and repaired and both function very well now.
This property should only be rented in warm weather. The home is very old. The inside has been updated some and painted. Clean enough if you don't try to open blinds encrusted with layers of dirt. The exterior is rough, but I hope it's a work in progress. There has been no winterization done and the old house has no insulation. Garden hoses still lay outside. The air conditioner in the bedroom window is wide open and the queen size bed sits right up next to it blowing in freezing air. My son slept in it with his cold weather gear clothes on and we were so glad we had the forsight to pack warm bedding. The blanket on each bed was a summer type comfortor maybe Wal-Mart quality. It was 16 degrees the first night we were there. There is a table in the kitchen with no chairs to sit on. There are some tall metal stools at the bar. I couldn't sit on them without sciatica pain. We went downstairs to the living room to sit on the sofa, but there was NO heat down there. We went to the Ace hardware and bought a heater and to Walmart to buy two chairs. There is no heat in the bathroom also. Makes for a miserable time trying to shower. The two kitchen cabinets sit so high up, only a 6' tall person can reach anything. No stool provided to reach those. We packed up and left early. We just needed to get warm.

Thank you for your review Diane and we will take your recommendations into consideration, however, we can’t help it if the bar stools caused you sciatica pain. We sit in them frequently and have no issues with them.
Yes, this is an old house and we are still in some renovation processes but the weather turned before we could get to them. So, unfortunately, some work will have to wait until the weather permits us to continue.
To address the heat, the health department requested we keep the A/C unit in there for ventilation, which we have since taken out as it did let in a lot of cold air. The real reason, though, it was cold in there is because the thermostat was going out. We have replaced the thermostat and it’s a consistent, cozy 72° in there now! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, however, we emailed you asking to let us know if you needed anything during your stay and we didn’t get any correspondence from you. We would’ve liked the opportunity to address this to make your stay enjoyable and we are very grateful our pipes didn’t freeze if it really was 16°!
