Construction is by a family run Alaskan log business right here in beautiful Palmer.
Imagine watching the Moose stroll by from the comfort and privacy of your own large wraparound porch. Wake up to nothing but the sounds of nature and the beating of your own heart. This gorgeous home has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. The large bathroom has full laundry facilities with new LG HE Washer and Dryer. The King Loft suite affords views but with the privacy of blackout curtains and cellular shades and has a TV with Roku. Upstairs is also an office area for privacy to conduct business, read or just catch up on your emails. There is a superb kitchen with full size appliances, a large great room with gorgeous ceramic wood stove, radiant in-floor heating. free nationwide telephone calls on us. Grill your catch of the day out on the porch on the BBQ Grill, relax on the Adirondack Chairs sipping a glass of wine or hot cocoa. The cabin sits on an extremely private 1.5 acres of wooded beauty. One night near Palmer

For our trip this cabin was a stopover between Denali and Seward to break up the drive. The cabin was very nicely decorated with a great porch and was very clean with everything we needed. Although it is off the beaten path it was still an easy drive to Palmer for dinner and ice cream. Communications with the owner were great.

Quiet and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay celebrating our anniversary. Hosts were very accommodating when winter kept us from arriving at cabin. Kitchen well equipped and master bed comfortable. The quiet peaceful days were enjoyable.

Nice location that gives you privacy and the convenience which is just a few minutes away from the highway. Communication with the owner was easy, and they were also very accommodating. We found a place to stay when we come back.

Loved the cabin!

We stayed a few nights at the log cabin and absolutely loved it. The location is quiet and offers plenty of privacy, there are houses around but you don’t see or hear people. It’s about 20 min from downtown Palmer with an easy and scenic drive. We took day trips to Hatcher Pass and visited both Knik and the Matanuska Glaciers. The area is absolutely beautiful. Cabin itself is wonderful, very clean, bedroom upstairs is a good size- the one downstairs (we did not use) is small, basically just fits a queen sized bed with little room left. But we loved the kitchen and the living room area, they’re spacious and beautifully decorated, as seen in the pictures of the listing. Kitchen has all the basic essentials. The grill is kind of old and useable. We really liked the little fireplace, it warmed up the cabin very nicely! We also appreciated the washer, dryer and thoughtful supply of detergent, dryer sheets and even a drying rack. Highly recommend this cabin. Thank you for hosting!

Amazing AK Home Sweet Home!

Our stay at the cabin far exceeded our expectations. What an amazing feeling it was to return to this hidden gem after a day full of exploring. We even saw a Mom and baby moose on our way into the neighborhood. The cabin had everything we needed and was comfortable like our own home. We definitely hope to return some day. Thanks for sharing this little slice of heaven. :o)

Great Alaska Cabin

Great cabin tucked away in the country but easily drivable to Palmer and Anchorage. Owners were super helpful and check in and out was a breeze. Very clean and really cool wood stove. Highly recommend!

This place had everything you might need. It was a bit overgrown around the cabin and could use a little TLC to the yard. This is a beautiful place. We loved it and would stay again.

This is my kind of cabin in the woods

Nice stay. Manager was responsive to small issue. Kids loved WiFi and nearby lake for fishing, swimming, and canoeing (we brought our own) Beds comfortable. Wood stove was great but remember... heat rises🤗 Took family photos in picturesque woods that surround the cabin.

Great place to unwind!

This newer cabin was a great base for activities in the Palmer area along with being perfect just to unwind and stay in! Everything was spotless and the radiant heating was especially welcome when temps outside were close to zero! Spacious kitchen & bath, nice decorations, and extremely quiet & peaceful neighborhood of similar newer cabins make this a winner! Owner Kay was very responsive and easy to work with too! Only 2 minor complaints: the vinyl couches in the living room are peeling badly and should be slipcovered or replaced and we couldn’t get the DVD to work despite following the directions but these really are minor...this is still a solidly 5 star place & we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!
