Our second stay was another dream come true. Our family included 6 adults, 2 little boys, and an infant. Everyone was comfortable and had plenty to do! I think we used every amenity and didn't need a thing to make for a perfect weekend. Hope to return every year!

Upstairs family room could use a tv and the pontoon boat had a few issues The hvac system was tremendous every floor was comfortable!! Overall great place would book again.

This house is set up for a family vacation which is exactly what we did. Plenty of space for getting together or for finding a quiet spot for quiet conversations. The lake was amazing, everyone loved the kayaks and pedal boat. The entire process was seamless leaving me to simply enjoy this time with my family.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation. The lake was gorgeous and the lodge was comfotable and spacious. We had a blast on the water and taking day trips to the surrounding area. Perfect place to stay!

What a wonderful family vacation we had! The house was as beautiful and comfortable as we imagined it would be. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 kids. The lake was very shallow, which was perfect for our youngsters! We had a great time exploring the lake on kayaks. Use of the indoor community pool came in handy on our one rainy day. Communication with Host was easy. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to meet the property manager and he was extremely helpful with suggesting local farmer’s markets and stores. The community was very quiet. We enjoyed a daily visit from 3 fawns and a couple chipmunks. Adults and kids caught fish right from the dock! Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. We’re looking forward to returning next year!

Terrific spot on a pretty manmade lake. Well outfitted. We enjoyed the kayaks and pedal boat, fishing from the dock, and swimming. (A little soft wading in, but the water was really nice.) Plenty of room for 8 adults. Beds were comfortable. Great stay!

Eleven family members stayed in this beautiful lakeside house for 4 nights. We ranged in age from 11 months to 76 years old. We all had a wonderful time! We can't say enough about our stay in Drums. Everything about the experience was a 10. Gale is the most responsive host I have ever encountered, answering my myriad and sometimes odd questions very quickly. The house is situated lakeside and felt like a sanctuary. The Quail Hollow community is quiet. The interior of the house is beautiful and easily accommodated all 11 of us. Between the kayaks, canoe and simply playing and swimming, screens were never mentioned or used (with pre-teens in our company, that's a win). We were outdoors in the Adirondack chairs, eating on the deck or in the water for our entire stay, other than when sleeping or for brief rain. The kitchen is fully outfitted and easy to work in. Beds are comfortable, with bedrooms on each floor, which made it easy to provide quiet sleeping and napping spaces for a baby and a 3 year old. We would certainly go back!

Amazing Getaway

Everything was perfect! House was super clean and beautiful. All the amenities you could imagine are stocked in the house. Gale was very responsive and super helpful. Lake was super quiet for the Holiday and that made our trip even more relaxing.

Great Stay

The property was just as described. The check-in process was seamless and the property was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials plus extras. The large windows overlooking the lake was just gorgeous! Two families with multiple age children had plenty of room and it was a great place to stay for our families to spend some great quality time together. We had a great stay!
