A QUIET SECLUDED PRIVATE CABIN ON THE WATER, WITH DOCKS, SAND BEACH, PINE TREES, AND 400 FEET OF PRIVATE LAKESHORE ON BEAUTIFUL, 7 MILE LONG DEEP, CLEAN, LAKE ROOSEVELT IN NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THE BEST SAND BEACH ON THE LAKE IS JUST A FEW STEPS FROM THE CABIN. IT IS 1 BR, WITH QUEEN BED, ONE BUNK BED, AND LR SOFA BED, KITCHEN FULLY FURNISHED FOR A GREAT VACATION IN BEAUTIFUL NORTHERN MINNESOTA WITH INTERNET AND WIFI AND STREAMING TV, AIR CONDITIONING, AND HEAT. I ALSO HAVE 2 PONTOON BOATS FOR RENT. ONE IS A FISHING PONTOON WITH LIVE WELL AND A NEW 2023 YAMAHA 40 H.P AND ONE 22 FT LEISURE PONTOON FOR CRUISING AND RELAXING WITH A 70 HP 4 STROKE ENGINE. I ALSO RENT OUT MY 17 FOOT ALUMACRAFT, WITH 115 YAMAHA TO USE FOR FISHING AS IT HAS LIVE WELLS AND FRONT ELECTRIC TROLLING MOTOR. ALL ARE AVAILABLE TO RENT FOR DIFFERENT RATES AND DISCOUNT FOR MULTIPLE DAYS AND ON A WEEKLY BASIS. WE HAVE AN INSIDE TOILET, BUT OUTSIDE SHOWER WITH HOT WATER ATTACHED TO THE BATHROOM AS IT IS TOO CLOSE TO LAKE FOR PROPER SETBACKS. ALL LINENS AND TOWELS FURNISHED. OUTDOOR PATIO HAS GAS GRILL, TABLE AND 6 CHAIRS. THERE IS ALSO A FIREPIT WITH FIREWOOD TO BURN. RENTAL MINIMUM IS 3 NIGHTS AND DISCOUNT GIVEN FOR WEEKLY RENTALS. THE RENTAL PERIOD FOR MID JUNE THROUGH AUGUST IS BY THE WEEK ONLY AND RENTS FROM SAT. TO SAT. OPEN FOR RENT FROM MAY 18 TO OCTOBER 1 AND THEN CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. REDUCED PONTOON RATES FOR JUNE AND SEPTEMBER. SEE THE BEAUTIFUL FALL FOLIAGE AND DO SOME GREAT FALL FISHING.

Beautiful location, peaceful setting

My mom, sister and I enjoyed a one-week stay at this beautiful location. We rented the pontoon and fished, toured the lake and enjoyed learning about the area history, too, thanks to the host and his expertise. Thank you, Dean!

Beautiful and private!

This was the perfect place for relaxing and privacy. We kayaked, paddle boated, fished, and rented Deans pontoon for boat rides. It’s quiet and remote and a beautiful setting. Will be back!

Perfect little cabin right on the shore of the lake. Quiet, peaceful, Loons, Eagles, fishing all out the front door. Dean is a great host. We will be back!

Great spot

We had a wonderful stay. It was a perfect spot for our small family. The cabin was clean and cozy and Dean was always accommodating. The fishing off the dock was great for my daughter (crappies, bass and sunfish) and the beach/swim area was sandy and clean. Having the use of the kayaks and paddleboat were a nice addtional perk.

Perfect getaway for the FAMILY

Thank you, Dean!!! The cabin and property were perfect for our family! The kids enjoyed the water everyday, swimming and jumping off the dock! The cabin is the perfect size and what we need for family of 5. The weather was perfect. Dean is very communicative and easy to work with. We are hopeful to re-book soon!

Relaxing Stay

My wife and I stayed with our 2 dogs and had a wonderful time. The cabin is located down a large hill right on the water. This makes for a very secluded and one of a kind experience. Dean was very helpful and responsive to anything we needed. ATV trails are easily accessible from the property as well. Overall, it was a wonderful time and we’ll look to return.

Perfect Little Getaway!

This cabin was perfect for my family of 5. Our absolute favorite part was the location, seriously sitting right on BEAUTIFUL Roosevelt Lake. We fell in love immediately upon walking in. The cabin is adorable- quaint, clean, perfect amount of room. We had iffy weather but didn't care- when it rained we played Monopoly that we found in the cabin or watched a movie together and when it was nice we explored the lake in the Pontoon (rented separately). The kitchen had everything we needed and more- even seasonings, oils, any pots/pans/utensils, etc. Beds were comfy and towels were provided. The shower was outside the side of the cabin, and I loved that- when do you ever get to shower under huge beautiful pines!? Dean, the owner, and his son were so nice and helped out with anything needed. I would absolutely go back and have already recommended this cabin to several friends. :)

Our Honeymoon getaway

We had an amazing time and our host Dean was perfect. He was available whenever we had questions and even brought us some fishing tackle after he saw my pathetic tackle box... LOL! :) Everything was perfect and we plan on going back again and again and again!! thank you Dean!!

True to the Ad - Nice Cabin

Dean was great to work with. Very communicative and Helped us with anything we needed, including launching and pulling our boat which was a huge help. Property is very private and despite lots of unfavorable weather, we had a very nice time and can just imagine how awesome this cute little place is when the sun shines and the wind subsides. We highly recomend it and may return again.

Great place!

This cabin and lake are great. The roomy cabin is close to the water, so you can hear the water and the loons. We enjoyed the sand beach, kayaks and paddle boat. There was also room for us to dock our boat. Being able to bring our golden retriever was key. He's part of the family! Dean was very pleasant to work with, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely go back!

We absolutely loved it here. Best place we've ever stayed.

Can't wait to go back next year . The cabin was very well taken care of. Beds were very comfortable . Dean was awesome to work with. Even let us use some of his fishing tackle to try and catch fish. I work 51 weeks a year 6 days a week. This was a little bit of heaven. Can't wait to go back next year.

Cozy cabin steps from the lake

Thank you Dean and family for a wonderful stay and all the help with the boat. We felt welcomed right away (we got in late and they already had a fire going for us). Our 4 kids and puppy had a blast and caught tons of fish. Highly recommend.

The pictures don't do this sweet cabin justice. It has a great layout & wonderful views overlooking the lake. Bed was comfortable & kitchen had everything necessary. The outdoor shower is fun! The lake is just beautiful & renting the boat helps to take full advantage of it. Beautiful sandy beach entry, great for kids. Dean was great to work with as well! The only downside we experienced was that it is advertised as a two bedroom which we needed with a toddler. It's technically a one bedroom with a second sleeping space with a bunk bed that is open to the living space.

THE OWNER, DEAN NORDAHL, IS THE 3RD OWNER OF THE PROPERTY. THE PREVIOUS OWNERS WERE HIS FOLKS AND GRANDPARENTS WHO SETTLED NEAR HERE IN 1934 AND BOUGHT THE PROPERTY IN 1948. THEY SECURED THE 40 ACRES ADJACENT TO THE LAKESHORE LOT AT THE END OF THE PUBLIC ROAD FOR WILDERNESS HUNTING AND SECLUSION. THEY ADDED 200 MORE FEET AND 20 ACRES IN THE 1950'S AND DIVIDED UP AMONGST THE SIBLINGS WHO HAVE HOMES ON THE PROPERTY.

GUEST CABIN PART OF FAMILY ESTATE WHICH HAS BEEN IN THE FAMILY FOR OVER 60 YEARS. THE GUEST CABIN WAS ORIGINALLY BUILT NEXT TO THE WATER IN 1948 AND WAS COMPLETELY REMODELED IN 2012 TO ACCOMODATE VISITORS AND NOW IS AVAILABLE TO RENT.

CLOSE TO BEACH AND RIGHT ON WATER WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS AND WATER NEAR THE CABIN. THE CABIN IS SITUATED NEXT TO SAND BEACH AND PROBABLY THE BEST SAND BEACH FOR SWIMMING ON THE LAKE.
