This property is one of our favorites in Destin. The unit is large and has gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape and gulf. It does show typical wear and tear for a vacation rental but overall, it was very comfortable for our family vacation. I would rent this exact unit again.

Great location…little difficult with the arm bands needed for being there hence no guests allowed from off property

Thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed the location. We apologize the armband requirement and the restriction on off-property guests made your stay less convenient. The condominium association requires armbands for beach access and limits non-registered visitors for security and occupancy reasons; this policy is noted in the listing and arrival materials. We appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again at The Terrace at Pelican Beach Unit 1601.

This had plenty of space and was full of incredible views. The place was clean and was close to several ice cream shops and grocery stores and was only steps away from the beach. Our family had a great time!

Our stay was overall very great. The property is nothing short of amazing! There was a mix up when we got in, it hadnt been cleaned yet (it took a minute to even notice) but once we reached out they had a team there to knock it out within an hour and a half. We just put our suits on and went to the pool until they were finished. 10/10 would reccommend and i would love to stay here again myself. Huge thank you to the host for this amazing luxurious stay!!

Spacious with epic views!

We loved our stay here! The penthouse was so spacious for our family of 6. We felt like it was a home away from home. The beach toys and access were a bonus. The terrace pool was calm and relaxing too! We’d love to return!

Beautiful penthouse! We enjoyed the views the most! The unit had everything we could have needed and then some. The weather was a little too chilly to enjoy the terrace for too long but it was such a great outdoor space! Maybe we will return in the warmer months to enjoy it!

Check IN at front desk was horrible

Drove from Tampa area 6 hour drive and when we arrived they basically said screw us cause we had 9 people instead of 8, side note the penthouse sleeps 12 so the one extra person had to book their own hotel 1000 on Memorial Day weekend and we had to show proof. Then they still didn’t want to let us in. We had to call ECVR to have them call the head of HOA to Approve the stay. The way they just really said screw us and my family of 9 with not a care in the world was so rude. Front desk really just was started my Vacation off on the wrong foot. They just didn’t care.

Dear Ashley, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay. I sincerely apologize for the frustrating check-in experience you and your family encountered after your long drive from Tampa. You're absolutely right that the situation could have been handled much better. The front desk staff should have approached this with more understanding and professionalism, especially given that you had traveled such a distance for your Memorial Day weekend vacation. I understand how disappointing it must have been to start your family time on such a stressful note. I want to assure you that this experience does not reflect the level of service we strive to provide our guests. I will be addressing this matter directly with the front desk management and HOA to ensure better communication and guest service protocols are in place for future arrivals. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve, and I hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with the welcoming experience you and your family deserve. Thank you again for your review, and I hope the rest of your stay was more enjoyable. Best regards
