Awesome time at Lux on Levee!!

There were 19 of us who stayed here and had PLENTY of room. We absolutely loved the location on the lake!! Very private location. Lake access was awesome! We docked both our boats while there and still had room to swim and kayak (with the kayaks provided and our own). The pool table downstairs was a huge hit as well! Thank you for a very memorable and wonderful vacation!!

Beautiful, but needed some attention to detail

Gorgeous home and setting on the lake. Loved being right on the water. Was so nice that it accommodated my whole family. Most beautiful view of the sunset and sunrise. Absolutely gorgeous! Cabin was not cleaned, wifi did not work, grill ran out of gas halfway through cooking and we had to make a trip to the store for garbage bags & kitchen necessities.

Great location; property needs TLC

Lake views are gorgeous but property needs some attention. Property does not provide life jackets for kayaks, garbage bags, darts for dart board.Plenty of towels but kitchen lacks bowls, forks, baking sheet and baking dishes. There is a blender & air fryer & 2 ice trays.Start up products are 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, no plastic wrap, aluminum foil or baggies, enough detergent for 2 loads laundry & dishwasher.Downstairs game room has pool table but TV wouldn’t connect; so you might want to have cables to hook up to streaming or gaming services. We made couple trips to Walmart to get items for food preparation. We were a group of 5 adults & 3 children. The kids were bored; the adults enjoyed the views & fishing.

Beautiful Rental for Large Groups!

We really loved this rental! Tons of beds/bunk beds - you can comfortably accommodate large groups here. Location is jaw-droppingly beautiful - the preview photos don't do it justice! It's gorgeous! Tons of amenities like floating dock, kayaks, pool table, jacuzzi, and more. Lots of games and thoughtful touches. I feel like you need a full week to enjoy everything!! Yes, the water smells like sulfur and is a bit slimy but it wasn't as bad as I expected based on some of the older, scathing reviews. I can see how it would be a little weird for city people but as someone who used to live in a rural community with a well system it wasn't a big deal at all. We brought our own drinking/cooking water (Three 5 gallon jugs for 9 people over 5 days). We had a few issues (broken disposal, broken shower handle) but Vacasa was very responsive and on top of it. The kitchen layout is weird, but new and beautiful! Also driveway is extremely steep and can be hard to maneuver if you have a handful of cars parked in there. All that said, would absolutely book this rental again. I can't express just how beautiful the views are from this cabin. We watched the sunset from the swinging chairs on the left side of the cabin every night, then watched the fireflies come out below us. Hardly any bugs even though we are right by the water. It really is such a dreamy location!!! 10/10 recommend.

Gorgeous lake/mountain view

Views and mountain breeze were great. Facility needs some TLC. It’s isolated and private and around 20 minutes to nearest stores. This is what the cabin provided. Starter pack with small bottle of liquid sink detergent, sponge, one load package of dishwasher & laundry detergent. Two small rolls of paper towels & 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Two ice trays(no ice maker). No trash can liners, plastic wrap, aluminum foil or storage baggies or containers, no baking dishes or baking sheet or mixing bowls. Plenty of plates but only 11 forks. The water has a slight sulfur smell & we brought bottled water for cooking, making ice & drinking. No darts for dart board or life jackets for kayaks. No VCR player for tapes; couldn’t connect game room TV to any service; might ask if you need some type of cable to access. Some board games lack pieces to play. The adults loved the views fishing & hanging out; the kids got bored. The bedding had a camp feel to it with mattress & decor. Plug in night lights would be helpful as nightstand lamps are lacking in bedrooms. We adapted and overcame; Hope this helps you plan.

Just ok

First and foremost the water is terrible. It smells and cannot be used for drinking or cooking. Water pressure was not good and showering with that water felt slimy. Next, the hottub was not hot and was completely filthy. Green water in the hottub and brown water as the week progressed. The cabin itself was nice but needs a few updates. Air conditioning upstairs was not cool at all. But downstairs air was too cold. Need bedside tables for phones so they didn’t have to be placed in the floor to charge. Would I stay here again, probably not.

Spring Break 2025

I would like to leave a review but it is not giving me the option. The house was beautiful, but the water was unusable you could almost throw up every time you turned it on. They did come out and but something in the filter system but it did not help. The 3rd floor had 2 dirty bandages under the bedspread and dead bugs on the floor and windows There was also dead bugs in the windows of the living room. The hottub was not clean but they did come and fix that problem. And my last big complaint is we had no internet the entire week. We home school and had to use hot spots to make that work. We didn't have TV all week due to no internet. We loved the house and the view but these things need to be addressed before someone else rents the place. I would love to rent it again if these issues were addressed. We locked the house up and we're off the property by 9:30 am this morning. Thanks for listening

Not Convenient & Not Too Safe

The house overall is beautiful. We chose this because it was large enough for the 5 adult families to have their own rooms and the main level along with the dock is handicap accessible, since my son is in a wheelchair. The water is heavily concentrated with Chlorine. You felt slimy and sticky after showers and the smell was overbearing. UNSAFE showers and tubs. Because of the water being slimy the showers and tubs were very slick. We had to wear water shoes to shower and place a hand towel in the tubs, to prevent them from slipping underwater, to bath the kids. No handrail on the bottom part of the stairs in activity room. One adult fell down the stairs at the landing and hurt his back and arm. Don't turn the water on hot alone, it's scalding! There was only 1 DVD/VCR in the activity room but it didn't work either. There is the bare minimum of cookware in the kitchen. We were only left with 2 trash bags for a 5 day stay. There's only 1 gate key that has to stay in a lockbox hanging on the gate of this gated community. You can park 5 cars at the house, very tightly, but it's inconvenient that an actual digital code is nit shared with renters to enter in the gate. Instead every member of the party must get out of the car, open the lockbox, walk across the drive to the keypad, scan the card, walk back, lock the card back in the box... all while someone else drives your car in the gate before it shuts, and walk to your car to get back in. The last thing is the access road to the property. It takes 19 minutes to go down this 4 mile road to the house. Dollywood and all other main attractions are 45 minutes away. This needs to be disclosed before booking.
