THE LAKE EXPERIENCE
Trails End Lake is a rare find—a motor-free lake with no tides and no wakes, just peaceful water warm enough for summertime swimming. We have 70 feet of private waterfront with shallow entry, ideal for children and confident swimmers alike.

Water Activities Year-Round: Take out our 17-foot canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddle board any time of day, any season. Paddle out to watch the sunrise with your morning coffee, or explore the shoreline at sunset. From mid-May to mid-October, swim out to our floating dock to relax in the sun and dive into crystal-clear water. The lake is stocked with trout in spring and summer for fishing.

Waterfront Amenities: Grill on our deck situated under cedar and pine trees, gather around the lakefront fire pit as the sun sets, or rinse off in our outdoor shower with lake views. After dark, relax in the all-season hot tub under the stars.

Games & Entertainment: We provide cornhole, bocce ball, ladder toss, and a dartboard in our outbuilding overlooking the lake. For indoor fun, enjoy puzzles, board games, and a karaoke machine.

Living & Entertainment
Gather by the fireplace for movie nights on our 50-inch smart TV with Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and more. Large windows frame beautiful lake views throughout the main living area.

We stock olive oil and approximately 20 basic spices. Dining options include the kitchen table, small island, or the spacious lakefront deck.

Cozy, Dog-Friendly Getaway – Would Definitely Stay Again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming property! The vibe and decor were super cozy—exactly what we were hoping for in a relaxing retreat. Lisa was incredibly easy to communicate with and always quick to respond to any questions we had. She made everything so easy for us from start to finish. One of the biggest highlights for us was how dog-friendly the home was. Our dogs loved having a fully fenced-in yard to run around in, and we really appreciated the gated deck for added peace of mind. It was also nice to be able to park inside the fenced yard for loading and unloading with the dogs. The swimming area had a nice combination of sandy and smooth rocky bottom that was comfortable to walk around on and the sunset views from the backyard were beautiful! The hot tub, outdoor shower, fire pit and indoor wood stove were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. There were also lots of fun yard games and water toys that made it feel like our own little private resort. All in all, it was the perfect spot for a low-key, relaxing getaway. We’d absolutely stay here again!

The cabin was perfect size for 4 adults and clean when we arrived. The hot tub was in great working condition and the instructions were easy to follow. The outdoor shower was clean and location was very convenient. The host is a fantastic communicator! The fans provided really helped with the temperature in the cabin. The floating dock was easy to get to using either the canoe, kayak or paddle board. We caught a ton of perch and a couple trout. We want to come back again!

Thoughtful touches allow you to enjoy this home, inside and out. Loved the pieces of art, read one of the owners books, enjoyed the lake. If you bring your pups, know that the location isn’t great for walks, but the enclosed yard and lake make up for that. Helpful hint, bring water shoes for the lake.
