About this property

Lakefront cabin near Hood Canal - outdoor shower, hot tub, kayak + floating dock

Looking for a romantic escape or family getaway? Our westward-facing 1100 sq ft cabin truly has it all – a hot tub nestled under pine trees, outdoor shower, floating dock in summer, fireplace + pit, kayak, canoe, SUP, lawn games, darts, BBQ, a well-equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Great all seasons location. We have high WiFi speeds and a dedicated workspace with computer monitor, making it great place to “work from lake.”

Trails End is a hidden gem – a clear, no-motor lake 5 mins from Hood Canal. Swim in warm water, free from tides. The lake is stocked with trout three times a year - BYO fishing gear and enjoy a morning out in our canoe. Relax under cedar trees, or explore local hikes, Olympic National Park, oyster bars, clamming + golf.

We are 90 minutes from Seattle, 45 minutes from the historic harbor town of Gig Harbor, and hiking trails in the Olympics are as little as 30-40 minutes away - snowshoe in the winter, forage for mushrooms in the fall. For longer stays, the gorgeous Washington coast is an atmospheric day trip for exploring tide pools and beaches with rock formations.

Families can just show up - we have a travel crib, toys, books, art supplies, games, puzzles, kids life vests, pool noodles and more.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Lisa was great with communication. Loved watching the ducks on the lake and the hot tub was awesome. Would love to come back in the summer.

Cozy, Dog-Friendly Getaway – Would Definitely Stay Again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming property! The vibe and decor were super cozy—exactly what we were hoping for in a relaxing retreat. Lisa was incredibly easy to communicate with and always quick to respond to any questions we had. She made everything so easy for us from start to finish. One of the biggest highlights for us was how dog-friendly the home was. Our dogs loved having a fully fenced-in yard to run around in, and we really appreciated the gated deck for added peace of mind. It was also nice to be able to park inside the fenced yard for loading and unloading with the dogs. The swimming area had a nice combination of sandy and smooth rocky bottom that was comfortable to walk around on and the sunset views from the backyard were beautiful! The hot tub, outdoor shower, fire pit and indoor wood stove were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. There were also lots of fun yard games and water toys that made it feel like our own little private resort. All in all, it was the perfect spot for a low-key, relaxing getaway. We’d absolutely stay here again!
