The cabin was so cute and we loved being right on the lake. We would’ve stayed longer if we could. Doug and Kim were extremely accommodating when there was a hiccup and we appreciated their efficient communication throughout the booking process and our stay. I highly recommend booking a stay here!

This was a great place to stay while my dog and I were in Michigan for a week long clinic. Good size, very pretty and relaxing location to wind down. We had a couple small items which were addressed right away.The only issue was sprinklers and wet ground which on a poodle are a mess trying to keep the dirt down inside. If I was aware I would have brought more dog towels for cleanup. It looked like newly seeded area so I am sure it's a short term thing. In the future, I will definitely book again when we are back in Michigan for training workshops.

Cute and pet-friendly cabin with a gorgeous view of the water. The pictures are accurate, but it's hard to gauge the size from photos, and this place was smaller than expected. Like a studio apartment, there is no wall dividing the bedroom from the living room and kitchen area. If you have any mobility issues, the bathroom might be a challenge, especially getting to the toilet. It's a very small space. The shower was hot and had good pressure. Kitchen was clean, updated, and well-stocked.This is the third cabin in the row, and parking is near the first cabin. Luggage does need to be carried a short walk past the other two cabins. The nice thing about being the last cabin though, is you only have a neighbor on one side (and there is a small privacy fence). On the other side of the cabin is a grassy peninsula that has seating and a fire pit.The small patio and chairs facing the lake was our favorite part. The view is stunning and we spent much of the day watching the pontoon boats float past and waving at them.

Perfect place for us

We had a wonderful time at The Eagle's Nest. The cabin was perfectly stocked and very clean. The location was excellent as it was close enough to the main roads yet set back enough for peace and quiet. Thank you so much for having hs.

Great stay- wish I had known size.

This place was beautiful, and I really enjoyed my stay. I wish there had been somewhere for me to put my clothes maybe some drawers under the bed or something like that. Great use of space just a little smaller than expected.

Absolutely love this property! It was perfect for me and my wife and our small dogs. Super easy to get to with a very convenient, yet quiet location. Also, if you're not local and are still seeing the pictures from when the lake was drained, it is back and is wonderful!

Had a nice stay at the Eagle's Nest. The view of the lake was breathtaking. Very close to stores and recreational areas. During my time there, I went to the Sanford Historical Museum before check-in, walked along the Pere Marquette Rail Trail, and mostly relaxed at the cottage watching and listening to nature. Also, I saw an otter/gopher near the end of the lawn strip and got close enough to see its head pop out of the burrow. Anyway it was a nice, relaxing getaway trip and hope to come back soon.
