Host was very responsive when we needed something. A few things around the property were broken/worn but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Most helpful hosts

Our host was amazing! When I realized I only booked for 1 night instead of the expected 2 they bent over backwards to help me. Plus, when they saw my son was with me they brought over snacks for him. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in the area!

Beautiful Quiet Space

I stayed here for a week and loved every second!! The house itself is cozy and has everything you would need for a pleasurable stay, you can open the front door to a serene view of the outside and listen to the birds. Whenever I needed help the hosts were extremely responsive. I would most definitely stay here again and would higly recommend to those who are looking. Another plus side, THAT BATH! 😉

We are the Gilstrap's: a blend of the beautiful Polynesian islands and Sacramento. We both work in education, enjoy the outdoors, traveling, good food, and, most importantly, spending time with our loved ones. During your stay, we hope you'll find this beautiful place to be your home away from home.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is peaceful and lush with greenery. Massive mulberry and oak trees are everywhere, offering shade and keeping things cooler during those triple-digit days.

What makes this property unique

Experience tranquility, serenity, and calmness like never before. Book with me, and you'll feel miles away from Sacramento! Many call it the "secret garden," and I can't wait to show you why!
