The cabin was absolutely beautiful and cozy, with obvious love and care put into it. Not only was it decorated for the holidays, but the interactive bear game was a fun touch! We will definitely be recommending the place to family and friends.

Thanks again. We live our little cabin and sharing it with people like you.
The cabin was exceptionally clean and nicely furnished. Beautiful and quiet area, convenient to everything in Maggie Valley and Waynesville. The elk were out at night and the provided quite a show each night. I would love to stay here again.
The area was so nice and comfortable. Easily located in town. We saw 3-4 elk every single day right outside our cabin. The cabin was clean and cozy. It had detergent, coffee, soaps, plenty of towels and toiletries. Games for the kids and access to tv. They loved finding the tiny hidden bears throughout the cabin too. Will definitely recommend this place to friends!

Thankyou Jade for your kind words. Glad you saw plenty of Elk and enjoyed our bear game at the cabin. Come back anytime.
This cabin is emaculant and beautiful. It is in a great location in the valley. The only drawback to this cabin is its advertisement. We saw no elk in the area. Mostly because of extreme buildup of cabins in the community. There is minimal area for a groundhog to roam, let alone an elk. Again this cabin is wonderful and we would even rent it again. We were just disappointed by the way the area is portrayed as an area friendly to wildlife.

Hey Carl, glad you enjoyed the cabin. Sorry the elk do have a mind of their own and they will be seen less in the warmer months. Cabin is in a organized community due to the fencing restrictions elk do walk through the neighborhood year-round Less in July and August but plenty come September as mating season commences come back and see us anytime
1st of all....Maggie Valley never disappoints! The Elk Valley Cabin is in a good location. We arrived on Wednesday 9/17/25 and stayed through Sunday. Everything was really nice and cozy. Only thing we did not care for was the living room furniture. It was too small (in size) My husband is 6'1" and the recliner was more like for someone 5'1". only love seats (small) available. Other than that we enjoyed our stay so much we are buying a house there. So see ya soon Maggie Valley!
I am a Native Floridian. I honeymooned in Maggie Valley in the late eighties. This is my dream to own a piece of paradise and I get to share with others.
Why they chose this property
I chose Crockets Meadow (organized subdivision) because it is a great location in the heart of Maggie Valley, flat driveway, and prettiest view in the valley.
What makes this property unique
This property is in an excellent location. It is 15 minutes from The Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 minutes from The Great Smokey Mountains National Park, 15 minutes from the Harrah's Cherokee Casino, 35 minutes from Biltmore Estate, 5 minutes from Cataloochee Ski Resort. This subdivision has elk coming in and out freely all year long. The property is Florida Flat and is motorcycle friendly. It is very close to great restaurants and 15 minutes away from Publix and Ingles.
