Unfortunate Experience
We couldn't wait for our weekend getaway and were not impressed with the communication at all! We reached out the evening before our departure to ask if we could arrive 30 minutes earlier. After 11:30 pm, the night before our check-in, we received a message that they had a water leak and had cancelled our reservation. We didn't see this message until 5 am and were frantically trying to find a new place to stay, which proved unsuccessful on such short notice. We were fortunate that a family member allowed us to stay with them, so we didn't have to lose all our money from other adventures we had planned. When we drove by the house, there were vehicles parked there, coolers sitting outside, and towels hanging on the line. We do not know for certain, but guessing it was either double-booked, the owners decided to stay, or something else. We are certain we were lied to. Would not trust staying here, especially if you have other adventures booked already! We can't effectively rate the accuracy of listing or cleanliness as we didn't have the opportunity.
