We had a wonderful stay. The location was close to beaches, restaurants, golf course, and grocery store. We were allowed to check in early since there were no renters the day prior to our arrival. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Kauai!

Our party of 6 really enjoyed this condo! It was clean and spacious, and the kitchen is well stocked, allowing us to cook often. The location is also wonderful — a short walk to the beach, and a short drive to Princeville shopping center and Hanalei. Highly recommended!

Jude provided great details and recommendations to help prepare for our stay. He was also very responsive to our questions. The condo had extra amenities that I haven't seen elsewhere (bathroom rugs, curling iron in each bathroom, games and dvds). This is also in a great location near beaches as well as a local grocery store and shipping area with live music and great restaurants.

Everything you will need!

It was a great stay and jumping off point for visiting the National Tropical Botanical Garden, Haena and Hanalei. The home had everything we needed and we had a great time playing in the pool when we were not adventuring. We did not venture down to the beach as it was a bit of a steep decent but enjoyed watching the sunrise from the top of the trail!

This was an ideal place for us to continue our stay in Princeville after checking out of the nearby Westin. There was plenty of space for my family, including my parents, spouse, and two year old son. We were already familiar with the nearby shops and the location was a perfect jumping off point for all of our island adventures. The kitchen was well-stocked with essential supplies, we did not want for anything as people who cooked/prepared almost every meal. A few downsides: There is no A/C (typical of Hawaiian properties) but the fans and windows were fine. If you prefer a firm supportive mattress you likely will not find that here. Things don’t dry quickly (or well) in such high humidity, so washing clothes or using towels or even certain rooms may smell a bit musty.Overall, I would recommend staying at this property place.

Cons: Payment process was very confusing as host’s platform was not VRBO and the itemized charges did not match between the host and original VRBO website when booked, but he adjusted it for us. It was initially difficult to communicate to him on the other platform. It was not clear how to do it. Had to ask for our check in instructions. VRBO site stated we’d get them 3 days prior. I had to request them when not provided and received them 20 hours before check in. With our party of 5, there were a limited number of spoons and we had to wash them after each meal. Coffeemaker lid had to be left open for it to work right. Some wash cloths had holes in them. Limited items in kitchen (only one baking sheet, no pizza cutter). No Kleenex-we had to use toilet paper. Refrigerator leaked onto our food on the first shelf. Sand and food crumbs on kitchen floor upon arrival. Pros: Host allowed us early check in and late check out which was very kind, given our late departure flight. Loved having the snap wear containers in the kitchen to store leftover foods. Great chairs and towels for use at beaches. It was nice to have flashlights to avoid stepping on snails and frogs at night. It was a quick walk to the pool, which was very clean. Great set up of condo. Plenty of space for the 5 of us and a nice location for exploring the northern area/close to grocery store. Spacious bathrooms equipped with all that we needed. Once we were in the condo, host was quick to respond to any questions.
