This house is really fantastic- we had a great stay. Cozy with a great kitchen - ideal location walking distance to several wonderful local establishments with great food options - super nice bathrooms and seriously good space in the bedrooms. We look forward to staying again.
We were traveling for a dance competition and looking for a space to hold two teens and two parents that was close to the center of the two venues. This home ended up being in the perfect location--just a mere 4 minutes from the one location. The house is nicely sized, the beds and rooms are comfortable, and it had everything we needed. Though we were unable to spend any time outside (thanks to the recent show and ice), we could see how the outdoors would be a lovely escape. Overall, our stay was nice and will be looking to book next time we're in WS.
Rafael was so responsive in answering our questions. The home was perfect for our needs while we visited our family. The home was clean, the beds very comfortable, and we were left treats for our arrival. Be sure to visit the speakeasy, and bbq restaurant a block away. Grocery, gas, restaurants are all nearby. Overall, a great place to stay if you're in town.As a bonus, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, we had days in the 70's (in December!) and walked around the track with our family in Reynolda on several days.
Absolutely spotless and adorable cottage with tons of room, with a layout that makes it appear more spacious than its stated square footage. The decor is cozy and welcoming, with board games galore in the living room. Loved the spacious dining table with bench. Both showers are gigantic and tiled beautifully. We chose the dual-head shower in the spacious back bedroom, which easily holds 2 queen beds and furniture, as we chose to sleep there instead of the front bedroom. The mattress was very comfortable for both my husband and me, and we both have bad backs. The backyard is spacious, and it was nice not to have to park on the street, making it easy to transfer luggage up onto the porch and into the front door. Also, centrally located for sightseeing with a Publix and Trader Joe's within minutes from there. Once again this cottage is clean, clean, and clean - such a joy!
This house was a nice spot to gather while we visited our son at school. We enjoyed the location and were able to walk around and visit the cute nearby shops while we waited to check in. (When we arrived, we learned that the guests before us had left a mess, so the woman who was cleaning the place wasn’t finished yet. She did a great job, though—it was in good shape when we were able to get settled in.The house did have some minor issues: one of the chairs at the dining table seemed like it was breaking. We didn’t sit on it because it seemed pretty precarious. The door of the bathroom that opens onto the common area would not latch. Also, the handle of the kitchen faucet fell off very easily (and needed to be put back on). In addition, the backyard chairs were broken and not usable. Thanks so much for allowing us to use your house for our visit to Winston-Salem.
