At 1,890 square feet and three bedrooms, you will have plenty of space to make yourself at home! Seclusion Villa is located is a Penthouse unit on the fourth floor of Sandy Lane Villas on the best stretch of beach on Daufuskie Island. This unit has gorgeous views of the beach and the complex pool from the wrap-around porch. Elevator and luggage carts are available in the condo complex.

This is a "WOW" property! The Seclusion Villa is beautifully decorated, fully equipped for the perfect family vacation, and in a location cannot be beat! Imagine waking up to an Atlantic Ocean sunrise. Then head out to the lovely balcony and enjoying your morning coffee while watching the waves come in while the osprey and dolphins fish. Later, you'll head out to the ocean over the private boardwalk, and spend the day enjoying the best beach on Daufuskie, and a private community pool.

Each of the three bedrooms has a private bath and the unit boasts two “primary suites”, perfect for two couples traveling together. The kitchen has a glass-top stove, oven, large refrigerator with ice maker, garbage disposal, toaster, Keurig and standard drip coffee maker, dishwasher, and a microwave. It is well-appointed with pots and pans, blender, and kitchen utensils. A full-size washer and dryer are located within the pantry. The dining area includes a large table with seating for six and the porch hosts seating for six on the front porch and wraparound back veranda.

This unit comes stocked with starter supplies including; 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, trash bags, 3 dishwashing pods, dish soap, and 3 laundry pods.
All linens and bath towels are provided.

Beach chairs for six are provided in the condo.

About Sandy Lane Villas
Located directly on the beautiful Daufuskie Island Bloody Point Beach, the villas are a six-minute golf cart ride to the School Grounds Coffee shop, a five-minute ride to Lucy Bell's Restaurant and the Iron Fish Gallery, and a 15-minute golf cart ride to the public ferry dock and Freeport General Store.

You will have access to the private Sandy Lane Villas pool and beach boardwalk during your stay.* The large outdoor swimming pool is on the ground floor and comes complete with poolside lounge chairs and showers. Exit the pool gate to the private boardwalk over to the 3-mile stretch of beautiful beach.
(*The Sandy Lane Villa complex pool is operated solely at the discretion of the Sandy Lane building management and the Sandy Lane Home Owners Association. Please observe all posted rules.)

Gas Grills are located in the poolside area for residents' use.

Important Info about Getting Around Daufuskie Island
(This part is super important!) Daufuskie is a bridgeless island and you cannot bring your car. This means more planning and preparation on your part, but it’s also why Daufuskie is so undeveloped and special! Guests must arrive by ferry or water taxi and secure ground transportation from the arrival dock on Daufuskie to Sandy Lane Villas. (Information and help arranging the transportation will be provided to you and we are more than happy to assist you with any of these reservations!)

There is a small general store on the island for essentials, however, it is highly recommended that you bring food over with you or order grocery delivery. There are restaurants on the Island - Up in Smoke BBQ, Driftwood Diner, D’Fuskies Store and Eatery, Old Daufuskie Crab Company, Scoopasaurus Ice Cream and Treats, and School Grounds Coffee shop.

Ground transportation:
Once you arrive on Daufuskie Island, ground transit is required to transport you and your luggage from the ferry landing to the unit and from the unit back to the ferry landing upon checkout. Golf carts cannot be used to transport luggage.

The cost of ferry tickets, golf cart rental, grocery delivery, and ground transportation are separate fees and must be reserved by the guest.

• Check-in: After 4:00 PM | Checkout: 10:00 AM
• The unit will be self-check-in with a door keypad. Instructions will be emailed prior to your arrival.
• No smoking in the unit or on the porches.
• No parties or events
• Primary guest must be 25
• Observe all rules of the Sandy Lane Villas complex, including noise curfew, posted pool hours, and proper trash disposal.
• No more than six adult occupants
SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IF RENTING THIS UNIT, NO SMOKING ON THE BALCONY/PORCHES.
