The house is gorgeous and conveniently located close to everything. However, it is not particularly child-friendly, as the open windows on the upper level could pose a safety hazard for young children.My only concern is that it seemed as though someone may have entered the house during our stay without our knowledge. Either that, or there were some very unusual occurrences. We found certain doors open in the middle of the night, and one morning at around 6:00 a.m., the TV in the upstairs living room was on even though none of us had turned it on.The housekeeper lives adjacent to the property with his family, so there may be a reasonable explanation. Nevertheless, these incidents left us feeling somewhat uncomfortable during our stay.

Lovely house

We enjoyed our stay in this house , very close from restaurants, bars and the beach , Don Luis helped us with everything we needed , the property is good for big families, AC worked perfectly in each room and the house was very clean and Don Luis make sure the pool was also clean .

Guy’s Vacation

Place is older, but very nice centrally located and easy to walk to restaurants, beach and bars. House was very clean and air conditioners worked great in the bedrooms. Nice refreshing pool. On site caretaker was very friendly and helpful. we felt very safe and enjoyed our stay.

Amazing property, comfortable enough for large groups.

We had 2 families with 4 teenagers and a child between us, and this house fit us perfectly. It was very comfortable for us. Plenty of areas like small living rooms to hang out in, and the pool was large enough for our group. Everything you need is in the kitchen, bring your own groceries.

Our dream vacation

My husband and our 2 teens , plus my inlaws (who live in nica) stayed at this AMAZING house for 5 days . Right away Don Luis was welcoming and helped get us settled and if we needed anything he was always available. The pool was always clean and nice and cool, We loved the rustic look of this house and loved that the kitchen had everything we needed. Our only real concern was the beds were a bit uncomfortable but we dealt with that fine . Over all we absolutely would stay here again 💕

Great place

Very interesting house! Really cool design, spacious, great location. We had to wait a hour extra to check in because of a communication issue between owner and house management. But it wasn’t a big deal. I’m sure it doesn’t happen often. Don’t hesitate to get this place! You won’t be disappointed

Great place with a few caveats

The caretaker felt helicopter-y at times. The electricity usage is fine for 2 rooms but using all 4 and normal use of common area lights would easily go over the prepayment. So, heads up on that. Otherwise, great location, clean, and plenty of parking.

What a great way to celebrate a special birthday!

We celebrated my husbands 80th birthday in San Juan delSur. His 8 siblings and extended family and friends , a group of 25, stayed in condos close by CASA 72.CASA 72 was the perfect location forthe 9 of us as we were footsteps from the beach and restaurants. It was conveniently located to various shuttle services so day trips to zip lining, beaches,OmeTepe, Grenada etc.Luis and his wife welcomed us back home every time. They took such great care of us and were always quick to offer any help needed.Casa72 is such a unique home, filled with art and lots of places on the four floors for a large group such as ours to spread out and relax. The views and sunsets were stunning and have stayed with me as the best reminder of a fantastic vacation!We hope to be back in the near future.

First off, address was not posted anywhere so I could not find the house, no phone number to contact person to meet us. House has many open areas where any type of animal can get in. Upon entering property I placed a food container down on the counter and immediately noticed at least a couple hundred ants all over the kitchen. They did have cups and utensils available but I would not use them considering the conditions. I notified maintenance person that lives there and he provided us with a bug spray… and said it’s not a big deal. Then after settling in and laying in the beds, my family was terrified and couldn’t sleep after hearing BAT noises INSIDE the house possibly inside the walls and up near the ceiling. Also heard multiple RATS running around and scratching/biting the wood. Next day I went to the beach, came back super tired ready to lay down just to find RAT DROPPINGS ON MY BED. My relative found bugs on his pillow and in the bathroom. Rooms had unpleasant smells also but compared to everything else that was the least of my worries. If a house is going to be rented or used for business these are UNACCEPTABLE conditions, these are types of animals that can have rabies sleeping in the same room as you. This house I recommend highly if you like rats, bats, ants, lizards, and possibly other creatures. I have photos of everything I’m stating I would not lie about this. The one thing I did like is all the rooms were equipped with air conditioning.

Si buscas un lugar cómodo, céntrico y perfecto para disfrutar de San Juan del Sur, definitivamente recomiendo Casa 72. La casa tiene una ubicación excelente, cerca de la playa, restaurantes y bares, pero al mismo tiempo mantiene un ambiente tranquilo y relajante.Nos encantó la limpieza, la comodidad de las habitaciones y la piscina, ideal para refrescarse después de un día de playa. El personal fue muy amable y siempre atento para ayudarnos en todo lo necesario, haciendo que la estadía se sintiera aún más especial.Sin duda, un lugar perfecto para disfrutar en familia o con amigos y vivir la vibra única de San Juan del Sur. ¡Volveríamos otra vez!

Casa 72 en Septiembre

Perfecta para lo que buscabamos, que era un lugar en el pueblo para ir caminando a los diferentes restaurantes. Es una muy particular en su arquitectura y comoda para un grupo grande. Don Luis muy amable y servicial. Volveríamos a quedarnos aquí.

Es un espacio amplio para familia, tranquilo. Sería bien colocar al menos un TV en una de las salas inferiores, el único TV queda en la última planta. Debería considerarse que se pueda permitir la visita de más personas, siempre y cuando se respeten las otras normas de la propiedad.
