A boater's dream! Imagine docking your boat at the 50' deep water dock while vacationing at his beautiful, private, waterfront home located in the Short Beach neighborhood of Branford Ct. This stunning, clean, modern home is located on a quiet dead-end St. set back off the road for ultimate privacy. There is a 1car attached garage if you arrive by car or pull your boat up to the deep-water dock. Day trip to Block Island or paddle down river for lobster rolls. Private beach access and walking distance to one of Branford's best Italian restaurants. This home is very Well-appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything inside from the cutlery to the couches to the beds was purchased brand new in August of 2024. The mattresses are all memory foam. All the sheets are 100% cotton.

Great location in Branford, on the coast, and close to New Haven. Comfortable stay for three generations, visiting for a family wedding. House was clean and well equipped. Host communication was easy and very helpful. Would stay again.

Loved the house! Carolyn was super responsive and sweet. By far the best stocked and kept house any of us had stayed in. We originally planned on staying in Mystic but were so happy we ended up in Branford, the town was cute and there were lovely beaches nearby

We had the absolute best time staying at the Boater's Paradise. We were disappointed we only booked it for a weekend as we could easily have stayed for a week! It was so well laid out and spotless. Lots of storage space and plenty of beds (the kids loved the double bunk!) The location on the inlet was so gorgeous for sunrise and sunset. Whilst the extra steep driveway was intimidating at first, we quickly got used to it. Thanks for a very special stay.

Property is as advertised and sits on a nice tidal river to the ocean. It has clearly been recently renovated, the layout allows for two bedrooms and separate bathrooms downstairs, the kitchen and communal area on the main level and then a separate suite with its own bathroom over the garage, which allowed us separation from our kids and their spouses. The deck was great and allowed us to sit out there in the evenings and watch the boats go by with a portable gas fireplace. Would definitely recommend and stay again. One word of caution if you have a very large SUV or might be towing something to the property you should definitely talk to the host about access as the driveway is a bit windy and steep.

Amazing!

We stayed at Boater’s Paradise for a week in July 2025. This is an amazing home with gorgeous views. We enjoyed spending time on the deck with our morning coffee overlooking the water. We do not have a boat, but if you do, it has a lovely pier and dock. This house is centrally located and is a fairly short driving distance to many attractions. There is plenty of room in this house. We are a family of six and with its three nice size bedrooms and three full baths we were more than comfortable. The host takes pride in their home as the house is very well appointed and extremely clean. The host is delightful, easily reachable, and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely recommend this home.

It has been a lifelong dream to be part of the Short Beach neighborhood. This neighborhood is not only scenically beautiful but it’s a great community that comes together in long standing traditions and celebrations.

What makes this property unique

This home was built by an engineer, so it well designed & constructed. The deep water dock offers a unique opportunity for travelers to visit with their boat. I have spared no expense in furnishing & decorating the entire home. The home is very well appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. If I’ve missed something, just let me know and I will be sure to add it.
