We had the loveliest stay at Alpenglow Aerie! We were two families with 5 children staying over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house is beautifully decorated and has the most spectacular views of the mountains and lake. It was the perfect place to unwind after a hike or bike ride. The added loft area was perfect for the kids and we always had a fire going in the evening. The kitchen was well appointed and had all the staples which made cooking a big Thanksgiving meal even easier. The location in Tahoma is also very nice - it’s a quiet area but you can easily get to Tahoe City or South Lake Tahoe in 30 min for shops, restaurants, bike rentals, etc. We would love to make a return trip one day!

We were a family of 10 coming into town to celebrate our wedding and a milestone birthday, and our experience at Alpenglow Aerie was by far the most epic of our lives!Not only is the property beautiful, in fact, I would say the photos of the house and views of Lake Tahoe don’t even do it justice, but the house was the most well-equipped/stocked property we have ever rented. The house was full of every single thoughtful detail you could possibly imagine to make our stay, luxurious, comfortable, and effortless. And the most impressive aspect of our stay was our communication and coordination with our host and her concierge staff. They helped coordinate a dinner for 20 with a private chef that we will remember forever. They were proactive, positive, and extremely kind and helpful at every turn. If you get the opportunity to stay at Alpenglow Aerie, and work with the Stayluxe crew, TAKE IT! You will NOT be disappointed.
