Welcome to our cherished family cabin nestled on the serene shores of Lake Tahoe in the idyllic Rubicon Bay. Steeped in generations of family history, this cozy retreat offers a quintessential Tahoe experience with its rustic charm and tranquil waterfront setting. Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature at our beloved lakeside abode. Unfortunately we cannot allow any pets. Max of 8 adults (6 years and older), no restrictions on of children 5 and under.

This rustic cabin exudes warmth and comfort, providing a perfect blend of traditional Tahoe charm and modern amenities. With breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tahoe, you'll feel a sense of peace and relaxation from the moment you arrive.

Private Dock and dedicated buoy: Share a dock with just one neighbor and utilize a dedicated buoy for mooring your boat while renting.
Ocean Kayaks: Explore the pristine waters of Lake Tahoe with our two complimentary ocean kayaks.
Outdoor Entertainment: Enjoy friendly competitions with a game of horseshoes or shoot some hoops at the basketball hoop on the front patio.
Grill and Outdoor Dining: Fire up the grill on the back porch and savor a delicious BBQ meal at the outdoor table, surrounded by towering pines.
Beach Access: If the water level permits, take advantage of our private beach for a day of sunbathing and swimming.
Prime Location: Situated in Rubicon Bay, known for its calm waters, you'll be just 30 minutes from the vibrant nightlife and casinos of South Lake Tahoe, and only 20 minutes from the charming town of Tahoe City.

Our family has been going to Lake Tahoe since 1966. My favorite memories are up at the Lake. Now I enjoy Tahoe with my wife, 3 children and friends. We love to ski, hike, swim, wakeboard, tube, play games, ride our bikes, and just hang out and do nothing. Lake Tahoe has it all. We would love for you to come and enjoy our beautiful lake front cabin with us.
Why they chose this property
My dad bought this beautiful lakefront property and built our cabin on it. Later we added a dock, a front deck and 2 buoys. We have a awesome back deck where you can sit and enjoy incredible views of the Lake or walk down a few steps to sit on our beach. We are 10 miles south of Tahoe City. Away from the busyness of Tahoe City and South Lake Tahoe, but only 30 minutes drive to either of them for shopping or night life. Tahoe to me is the most beautiful place on earth. It is my favorite vacation spot for the last 46 years.
What makes this property unique
The cabin is on the lake with it's own wonderful beach and shared dock. It is perfect for kayaks, canoes, floating in the water, swimming, fishing, motor boating or sailing. There are tons of hiking and mountain biking trails nearby and Emerald Bay is a 15 minute drive by boat or car.
