Waterfront with HUGE bulkhead, Minutes to Bay and Beach, Kayaker's Paradise


10 kayaks, 2 paddleboards and a paddleboat are available on site for your use, at your own risk.

This spacious and sprawling ranch is sure to please your family and friends for a getaway anytime of the year. Seated on a huge lot, with a 175 foot bulkhead and deep water lagoon, there is plenty of room for boats, jet skis, canoes, kayaks, inflatables, as well as fishing and crabbing right from the property. Two large solariums overlook the beautiful water views with ducks, geese and gulls swimming and flying by daily. Also, if you're into kayaking or canoeing, this place is perfect for you, as it is situated on the Cedar Creek. A long, narrow, and windy river that allows you to paddle downstream from various dropoffs, all the the way back to the house.

Inside this wheelchair accessible home are 4 bedrooms. The master is huge, offers water views, access to solarium and the outside, and has a king bed and a master bath with shower. Two medium size bedrooms have queen beds, and the smaller bedroom has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and single on the top. A second full bathroom with tub is in the hallway near the bedrooms.

The kitchen is well equipped with a viking stove, double wall oven, and all the pots pans, and cooking utensils needed.

The rest of the house is made up of 4 large common areas.

The Living Room has a couch, love seat, 2 leather recliners, and a nonfunctional fireplace (and plenty of space for an air mattress or two for extra guests).

The Great Room includes a small bar, large sectional couch, 60 inch 4K Ultra HD internet-connected Smart TV, and two fans to keep the breeze going. My favorite room in the house is just off the great room... the red bathroom. It is awesome, you'll see why. Also off the great room is a wheel chair accessible 2 car garage with washer and dryer.

The Dining Room has a large oak table with seating for 10.

Up the spiral staircase is an airy loft with a professional foosball table, 2 dart boards, a bunk bed, an additional day bed, and seating, as well as huge sliding glass doors that lead out to a balcony within a solarium.

Strong Wifi signal throughout the house.

There are river beaches in walking distance at Dudley Park.
Bay beaches are a short drive: 1.7 miles to Berkeley Island County Park (currently under repair) and 5 miles to Ocean Gate.
Ocean beaches (Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, Island Beach State Park, Ortley Beach, etc) are a 14 mile drive.

At your own risk, 10 kayaks and a paddle boat are available for your use, free of charge, during your stay! You are also welcome to use the treadmill in the garage at your own risk!

Interaction with Guests:
When I'm not living in this home, I am only a couple miles away. I do occasionally work out of the detached garage on the property, and I also keep a boat or two in the backyard. So you may see me on site, and I would love to meet you! At the same time I am very respectful of your privacy and will not bother you. Though I'm always available to help if you need something!

Great location and property

The house on the water accomodated us well for the july 4th weekend. Everything was in order and clean. Host was very nice wnd easy to communicate with .Kayaking and crabbing was fun right off the dock on the property.

30th Birthday Bash

Didn’t have many issues with the property, it housed everyone comfortably and was pretty clean. The few drawbacks consisted of: the space seemed a little smaller than advertised, the bedding upstairs had some sort of stain on it, and the closest’s wheels were off their tracks making it hard to get the spare mattress in the master bedroom. Overall, the quality of the house was good, the amenities were plentiful, and the host was very easy to connect with before the weekend spent there making it a smooth weekend and an enjoyable one.

It was great owner was present on property day of checking in and also stopped by to graciously provide us with a replacement light bulb and to provide some darts that were all worn out!... place was very expansive for our group of 8 guys and had plenty of room for everyone to sleep in there own bed and even more space for a couple more if needed albeit top bunks!

Bringing in the New Year

Keith was great to us. He always responded in a timely manner, and answered any questions we had about the accommodations. The place had more then enough beds and rooms for 13 of us to sleep. The Solarium room was probably our favorite spot to hangout during the day. Nice spot for a weekend gateway and bringing in the New Year. I can only image the place and area during the summer time.

I was looking for a house for a group of seniors who did not want to stay in the crazy hotel with the other seniors and the homeowner was willing to take them in. They were able to kayak, go to the beach and enjoy the area. The house was perfect for all 14 of them and they actually said they would love to do it again next year. Thank you.

Great weekend away

Keith's place was the perfect spot to take a group trip to the shore. We had a group of 16 people and the house was more than roomy enough for everyone to sleep comfortably. The pictures don't really do it justice in that regard. The place was very nice and clean and we had a really great time. The kayak's were a great bonus. Keith was very helpful and had great communication throughout the trip. We'd definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great weekend.

The property was great and the owner even better. The house was well equipped, very clean and large enough for our groups a total of 30 persons who stayed on and off for the two week period we had our vacation (we had up to 12 persons at the same time). One of our guests dropped a piece of our boat equipment into the water and Keith dove down and with persistence was able to recover it to my great joy. If possible we will return next year..

Amazing House and Wonderful Experience

We rented Keith's house for this Martin Luther King's Long Weekend and we really enjoyed our stay here. The house was pretty neat and warm for the winters. The music system was amazing. All of us really enjoyed the lake view and the foosball game :) If I ever get a chance again in this summer, I would definitely rent Keith's place and will plan our vacation :)

Berkeley Bulkhead Beach-home

We used this rental for our family Christmas gathering for 3 nights. place was available on time even though there were renters right before us. All the beds were made up, kitchen (with double oven!! big +)stocked with basics (salt/pepper/coffee/tea/etc) which is helpful, all rooms clean & orderly. Family room and living room large enough for grandparents, siblings, and children to gather. Weather was extremely cold so waterway froze over. Owner Keith was amazing! He was ready to help with any & all issues morning noon or middle of the night!! Thank you Keith!!

I've been a resident of the Jersey Shore all my life, growing up in a rural part of South Jersey. I've worked as a baker in the family's macaroon shop, as a commercial clammer, and now in medical. I love traveling and also helping people enjoy everything the Jersey Shore has to offer.

Why they chose this property

It has also always been a dream of mine to "have a boat in the water... in the backyard" and this property has given me that.

What makes this property unique

I just love the classic retro style of the house. When I first bought it everyone asked me if I would update it. I said, "Heck no! I love it the way it is!" Wait till you see the bathroom off the great room! Its awesome!

It's got character of a retro 70's home along with some old-school Italian villa inspired styling. And of course the waterfront location on the Cedar Creek makes it a great versatile place to visit.
