Shirley, Thank you for all the great comments and input! The neighborhood is certainly in need of some TLC (tender loving care). Most of the residents built their homes here 40 years ago, raised their families and are now aging and unable to do much to fix-up their homes. But the neighborhood certainly is enchanting and safe and the residents are friendly, caring, and good. Some of the reasons we selected this area to improve after Hurricane Maria was because of these very characteristics. Regarding the door lock and keys, we expected that guests would use the lockbox to store keys if there were multiple cars coming and going. To make things simpler, however, we will install a keypad lock for access to the Villa, thus eliminating the need for keys. Regarding the pool, unfortunately, the steep hill that provides such a stunning view also makes it cost-prohibitive to install a pool at the Villa itself, so we did the next best thing and placed in on more level ground one street below the Villa. We understand it's not the ideal location, but Agape' Anchor has just finished a Villa located at the pool itself. Now guests can choose between a Villa with an incredible view on the hilltop or one with the pool on-site in the back. Both are listed on HomeAway. Finally, fixing the bumpy entrance into the pool parking will be our next project!! When guests highlight issues such as these, it helps us become better! We are committed to always improving so thank you for that feedback and we look forward to hosting you again (without keys and potholes!!). :)

We strive to exceed expectations. Quiet hours begin at 10 pm in respect of our neighbors and we respectfully asked these guest at 3 am to move inside or end the party. Unfortunately they decided to retaliate via exaggerations in their review. Please read our other reviews for an objective perspective. And we are confident that we will exceed your expectations!
