Welcome to the Dream Catcher Retreat, where your dream mountain vacation begins. Nestled blocks from the lake and just under a mile to the village, this amazing retreat awaits your arrival. An all-season, two-story getaway boasting 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is a truly luxurious experience for the whole family. Relax and stargaze in the hot tub or join in the family fun for a game of foosball. This retreat truly has it all! Home has a electric car charger with Tesla adapter!
The Dream Catcher Retreat is a two-story home.
The first level features the dining and living room where you will be spending quite a bit of your time with family and friends and is furnished with all new furniture designed to accentuate the open concept, keeping your family engaged and socializing. The living room features a Smart TV that includes Spectrum TV.
The Master Suite with its own private bathroom, king sized mattress and private entrance leading out to the deck is located on the first floor.
The second bedroom with a queen sized mattresses next to our master suite has access to the second full bathroom downstairs off of the kitchen.
The huge third bedroom is located on the second level and doubles as an upstairs loft! It features one queen sized bed and two twin sized beds. This is a perfect room for the cubs! This room also features a new shuffleboard, foosball table, couch and Smart TV.
Up here you will also find a beautiful full bathroom.
The electric fireplace is available for guests to use!
The entire cabin will be all yours including the hot tub and yard. There is a balcony owner's closet that will be locked and off-limits to guests only.

The Dreamcatcher Retreat is located four blocks from the lake and just under a mile from the Village. We are two blocks away from Azteca Grill, Lakeview Market and Sister My Sister Bakery. It's an amazing location quiet and quaint surrounded by amazing trees.
Parking is easy and flat with a max vehicles of 3 that can park in the driveway only as there is no street parking in Big Bear Lake by code.
Home has a electric car charger with Tesla adapter! The tesla charging cable is in a box in the downstairs closet
Parking: The City of Big Bear Lake limits Parking to a maximum of 3 vehicles for the house. No Street Parking is allowed in any residential neighborhood.
Caution: The front steps and porch may be icy so use care when going up and down the steps.
Village distance: 3 minutes away from the home.
Slope distances: Snow Summit is 8 minutes away from the home. Bear Mountain Ski Resort is 12 minutes away from the home.
We have high chairs and pack n plays available at our office for rent for a fee of $25 per day for each or as a packaged deal, please notify us in advance if you would like to rent these during your stay.
To comply with our city permit, there is a $35 charge for dish cleaning in case they are not washed before your check-out.
If there is trash in the property, there will be an additional charge of $25 per bag.
Any guest that violates county or city rules as outlined in our 'things to know' and 'house rules' sections will be subject to paying a $350 call code attendance fee by our 24:7 call compliance staff in addition to any fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.
****We cannot grant access to the cabin until the rental agreement is signed with the Good Neighbor Brochure - please note no code will be sent earlier than 4pm and only with the signed agreement per the City of Big Bear Lake****
Please remember these rules are mandated and imposed solely by the CITY and our PERMIT/ORDINANCE which requires property management companies to notify all guests that the CITY requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the rental agreement app a copy of Governmental ID that matches the name on the reservation. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out.
(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly.
(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation.
(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave.
(5) Trash - All trash must be removed offsite to the free trash sites. Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or outside is subject to a $25 per bag for removal this is not our rule - this is the law and we must abide by it as there is no trash service due to wild animals. Please do not review us based on the law. We provide a dump service if you should want to pay in advance, but we have to send a dump service we cannot have housekeepers take the trash as the CITY does not allow this.
(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open.
(7) Pet- The home is strictly not pet friendly as the owners have severe allergies. Any violation is subject to eviction and a $3500 fine plus damages to the home will be charged.
(8) Hot Tub – No hot tub use after 10pm per the law any time a spa is left open and the cover off more than 30 mins a fine of $250 per hour will be due plus damages to the spa as this can result in pipes freezing - if a user error or maintenance is found or if we have to dump and fill water prior to your stay due to cleanliness requirements - we cannot be held liable nor grant refunds for a spa not being at the temperature desired or if left uncovered - if we have to dump the water it can take 24 hours for it to warm up. This is out of our control as sometimes the water has to be dumped and can take 24 hours to warm up. This will not be grounds for a refund.
(9) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.
(10) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines.
(11) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Any evidence of violation is grounds for immediate eviction from the cabin and a $3500 plus damages found at the home.
(12) Please refrain from bringing your own BBQs, Firepits and or outside cooking devices are banned by the CITY due to the fire safety hazards. This is subject to eviction due to this is how fires start.
(13) Due to the mountain location, Big Bear and the surrounding areas are known to have occasional power and internet outages due to circumstances beyond our control. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. There are no refunds at any time for power or internet outages due to normal mountain conditions, as these are beyond our control.
(14) The Mountain community area does not have air conditioning, and the availability of fans may vary depending on the property description. High temperatures or heat will not be grounds for a refund, as many cabins do not include air conditioning unless specifically stated.
Please keep in mind you must be 25 years old to book.
