We had a fantastic time during our stay at this property. The house and its associated spaces (bedrooms, living areas, etc.) were all well maintained and clean and served our group of 10 comfortably. It was a great mix of having a quiet, peaceful location while still being within 30 min proximity to multiple towns for groceries and activities. The grounds were also beautiful and we loved all of the equipment available to us during the stay: kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, etc. The only reason we gave it less than 5 stars access the board was that the outdoor maintenance was a bit hit-or-miss. The main stairs to the backyard, path to the hot tub, and path from driveway to front door were all overgrown with plants. Lastly, it's worth noting that the hot tub is wood fired and trash is the responsibility of the guests (and the nearest dump is only open a few days a week). I don't think either thing is make-or-break but did require some extra coordination on our part (I'll also note that we forgot to grab our last bag of trash when leaving and the hosts were very accommodating in taking care of it for us!). All of this to say, we loved our stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Perfect for our party of 11. Very comfy home in a rustic but beautiful rural setting. Central location to many area attractions. Thank you James for sharing!

Darlene and her party were exceptional guests. I would have never known 11 people stayed. They took care of our cabin and left it very clean. Thanks Darlene. Hope to have you as a guest again.
